The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers new for Tuesday, March 23, tease that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will have a pity party for himself. During a conversation with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), Liam will talk about the problems in his marriage to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and how forgiveness may not be possible.
Liam will acknowledge his own guilt in the situation and desperately wish he could turn back time. B&B fans will recall how Liam saw Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) kissing the Hope mannequin and assumed the worst.
Instead of confronting Thomas like a normal husband would do, Liam went sulking off to Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) place and slept with her. Liam wishes he could undo the chain reaction his lack of trust set off, but there’s no going back now.
At this point, all Liam can do is battle guilt and hope there’s a way forward in his fractured relationship. Bill will think it’s good news that Liam wasn’t the father of Steffy’s baby, but Liam won’t be sure that’s enough.
Liam might mention that Hope had some serious issues with his love profession to Steffy that night.
Of course, Liam also tried to act like Hope and Thomas’ bond was part of why he drifted back to Steffy. Perhaps Liam will feel like he made a bad call by trying to cast blame in that moment.
Whatever the case, Liam will be feeling sorry for himself in Tuesday’s episode and will get some advice from Bill about fighting for the woman he loves.
As for Hope, she’ll get some guidance as well. Brook Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will think the paternity truth is exactly what Hope and Liam need to move on with their lives. However, it won’t be that easy for Hope, who’ll remind Brooke that she was betrayed – and this wasn’t the first time.
Since Brooke has a lot of experience giving and receiving forgiveness, that’ll be a crucial part of this mother-daughter advice session. Brooke will probably act like Hope and Liam are meant to be – destiny like Brook and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Hope, on the other hand, will wonder how many times she can keep signing up to get her heart broken by Liam.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will acknowledge her lingering love for Liam, but she’ll also worry this relationship is toxic on some level. There’s a chance being with Liam is always going to lead to more pain, so Hope just won’t be sure she can fully embrace a reunion.
B&B fans can expect Hope to reach a major decision – and it looks like she’ll make right as Tuesday’s episode wraps up. It’ll lead to Hope dropping the bomb on Liam about a separation on Wednesday, March 24, so stay tuned!
