The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 11, reveals that Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) was confused after finding Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) in bed. Zoe wondered if Carter was sick, so he lied that he was.
After Zoe offered to get Carter some tea or soup, she spotted all the clothing on the floor and had a terrible realization.
“Is there another woman in here?!” Zoe exclaimed. She asked Carter if she knew this woman and figured maybe she did. Carter wanted to discuss this downstairs, so Zoe figured out the woman must still be in the room.
“What kind of woman moves in on a man who just called off his engagement?” Zoe asked. She continued to reel as Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) hid under the bed looking guilty.
Zoe knew she probably had no right to say this, but it broke her heart to know Carter had already slept with another woman.
When Zoe asked how many others, Carter insisted it wasn’t like that. Zoe asked if this woman was special then and if Carter loved her. Carter said no before Zoe wondered if he ever loved her then. After Carter insisted he never stopped, he admitted he hated that he was hurting Zoe.
However, Zoe was humiliated and horrified at the thought of this other woman hiding and probably laughing at her. She guessed maybe she needed to see how easy it was for Carter to move on.
Zoe asked if Carter cared about her, but he stood there looking upset over her heartache. As Zoe left, she stopped in the doorway of the loft briefly to cry.
Once Carter and Quinn were alone, they felt horrible over what Zoe just went through. Quinn pointed out that Zoe didn’t know she was the one in bed with Carter. She felt there was still a chance for Quinn and Carter to work things out.
Regardless, Quinn was determined to save her marriage and insisted that they had to take their secret to their graves. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn’s plan obviously won’t work out very well, so don’t miss the curveballs ahead!
At Forrester Creations on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) wondered if Eric Forrester (John McCook) truly wanted to make an effort with Quinn or just felt obligated.
Eric insisted his guard was up due to Quinn’s mistakes, but he felt he had to do a better job of letting Quinn know he wanted their marriage to work. Eric felt Quinn missed their intimacy a great deal, so he wanted to make things right.
After Eric had a flashback of happier days with Quinn, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) assured Eric the decision was his to make. Brooke ranted about how Quinn got bored and did everything she could to undermine her marriage.
Eric admitted that Quinn knew that would hurt him as well, so Ridge asked why Eric let Quinn back in the house.
Eric thought it was time and felt he had to make his marriage what it should be now.
Brooke, on the other hand, felt Eric should listen to his gut. She thought there was something holding Eric back and wanted him to listen to his instincts, which were clearly telling Eric that Quinn couldn’t be trusted.
That said, Brooke was willing to respect Eric’s choice as long as he was happy and thriving. As for Eric on Tuesday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, he wanted to give Quinn a fair chance. Since Quinn has needs, Eric felt he should be the one to fulfill those needs as her husband.
Brooke argued that she’d be there for Eric along with Ridge if Quinn let him down again. Eric really didn’t think anything else would happen since almost losing him was a wakeup call for Quinn.
“She’s not going to do anything else to jeopardize our marriage,” Eric insisted on Tuesday’s episode of The Bold and the Beautiful.
Soon after, Zoe was in tears as she came back from surprising Carter. She admitted to Ridge, Eric and Brooke that what happened was embarrassing and awful. They were all shocked to find out Zoe found Carter in bed with another woman.
