The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 12, reveals that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) invited drunk Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) home – and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) related to Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) struggle.
At home on Tuesday’s B&B episode, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) tried to make Hope see how important it was to protect their family and the life they’d built together.
Liam felt like Deacon was only going to hurt Hope again because that’s what Deacon always does.
Hope thought maybe the changes in Deacon were genuine, but Liam was firmly against allowing the conman and ex-con into their lives.
Liam argued that if they wanted the best for their family, then Deacon had to stay away. That’s just the way it had to be!
At the bar, Deacon said he wasn’t interested if Sheila was trying to hit on him – though she was attractive for a psychopath.
Sheila insisted she needed Deacon, but he was still wary of teaming up with someone like her.
Sheila ranted about the Forresters again and felt they could be in their children’s lives if they became allies. She pushed Deacon to imagine what they could accomplish together.
Drunk Deacon eventually started to leave, but he was too broke to pay. Sheila offered to pick up Deacon’s tab and insisted he could come stay with her since he had nowhere else to go.
Deacon decided to call Hope, but she disconnected in a hurry when Liam walked in.
Sheila acted like she was getting the same treatment from Finn because of the Forresters. She once again pushed Deacon to stay with her and let her pay for some meals.
Sheila enticed Deacon with the promise of booze and anything else a guy getting out of prison would need.
Deacon felt it was rather pathetic for two ex-cons to team up like this. He sarcastically wondered what could possibly go wrong and knew he’d regret this, but Sheila didn’t think Deacon would regret getting his daughter back.
Sheila declared that Steffy and the Forresters weren’t going to know what hit them.
Next, Steffy brought Finn up to speed on Hope’s father getting out of prison. Finn could relate to Hope’s experience with Deacon due to his own experience with Sheila.
Steffy suggested it was different since Hope knew about Deacon’s return in advance and had been corresponding with him in prison.
Finn understood Hope’s perspective since Deacon was still her dad despite his crimes.
Nevertheless, Steffy was adamant that Deacon didn’t deserve a spot in Hope’s life. She felt like boundaries were necessary to make sure Deacon stayed away like Sheila.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Finn and Hope’s bond could lead to more drama, so stay tuned.
