The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, January 22, teases that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will demand an explanation. Now that he knows Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) slept with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and is potentially the father of her baby, Wyatt’s stunned and furious with his brother. He’s going to want some answers about the awful decisions that led Liam to this low point.
Liam’s first screwup came when he assumed the worst after witnessing Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) mannequin make-out session. Since Liam went against his typical behavior and didn’t confront Thomas, he believed Hope had betrayed him when he went to Steffy’s house.
That’s where Liam drank heavily and ultimately hooked up with Steffy.
Once Wyatt hears the whole story, he’ll undoubtedly insist none of it excuses Liam’s behavior. Liam cheated on his wife – plain and simple. No amount of justifying can change that.
Wyatt will worry about how Hope’s holding up and may question Liam’s feelings for Steffy. He’ll probably wonder if this was really just a mistake or part of some burning desire to get Steffy back.
Liam will assure Wyatt that he wants to save his marriage, but Wyatt will acknowledge that’ll be a lot tougher if Steffy’s baby belongs to Liam. Wyatt will rant at Liam for putting himself in this situation – and Liam should agree he’s to blame.
There’s nothing Wyatt could say to Liam that he hasn’t already said to himself.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will fret over the possibility that Hope won’t be able to get past this. Despite Wyatt’s disappointment in Liam, he’ll hope “Lope” can sort through their problems.
Wyatt will eventually get a grip on his anger and focus on trying to help. He’ll sense that Liam could really use a confidant right now, so he’ll listen to Liam’s woes and offer some guidance in return.
Other B&B spoilers say Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will have a good reason to be concerned. After Ridge senses some sizzling chemistry between Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) and Zende Forrester-Dominguez (Delon de Metz), he’ll worry about the threat to Zoe’s engagement.
More specifically, Ridge will worry about the fiancé Zoe has promised to marry. Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) is crazy about Zoe, so Ridge won’t like seeing all these flying sparks between Zoe and Zende.
It’ll make Ridge wonder if Zoe might cheat on Carter or flat-out dump him if she can reel Zende in.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Ridge’s concerns will grow stronger next week. Zoe’s set to make a major move on Zende, so that’s not going to sit well with Ridge at all. Until then, a shocking discovery is coming up for Zoe – one that will set that major move of hers in motion.
Monday’s episode will bring Zoe’s distress over the text she missed from Zende, which could’ve totally changed her romantic future. Since Zoe will reel over that text on Monday, Friday’s cliffhanger may bring the realization that sets the stage for her freak-out.
