The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, July 9, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will race to stop Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) relocation to a new forever penitentiary while Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has a getaway surprise for Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears).
Hope was floored when Thomas explained what really happened the night Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) died. Thanks to the delayed texts and the suicide video Vinny shot, Thomas found out his messed-up friend stepped in front of the car intentionally.
This was all one big setup designed to take Liam down and make sure Thomas would have Hope all to himself. Once Hope wraps her head around all the shockers, she’ll kick her plan to free Thomas into high gear.
Hope has been searching for a key, so she may stumble across it or use something else to unlock the cage Thomas is trapped in.
Regardless, Thomas will be able to make his big escape with Hope’s help. Hope will want to find Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) in the aftermath and let him know Liam is truly innocent.
Of course, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has been grilling Justin upstairs in Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) office.
While Ridge continues to demand his son’s location, Thomas will bolt with Hope and head for the police station. That means Justin will be stunned by his hostage’s getaway soon enough.
Thomas will blab to Bill during the week of July 12-16, so he’ll take full advantage of his freedom and will try to take Justin down for what he’s done.
Friday’s B&B episode could be the start of Justin’s downfall, but he won’t just throw in the towel without a fight!
In the meantime, Liam will find out from Baker that he’s heading to a new forever home – some penitentiary where Liam can remain indefinitely.
Liam will fret over never going back to the cabin and living with his family again, but Hope and Thomas will be on the way to reveal the true story!
Although Thomas and Hope will arrive just in time to stop Liam’s prison transport, there’ll be a lot to explain in the week to come. As other B&B news rolls in, we’ll provide more updates.
