The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Friday, May 21, teases that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will reveal that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) destroyed evidence and fled the crime scene. Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will face Liam’s next bombshells while Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) connects some dots in Bill’s office.
At the cabin, Hope will struggle over the bomb Liam just dropped. Out of all the things Hope expected to come out of Liam’s mouth, a killer confession was probably the last thing she had in mind!
Hope will think back on all those times Liam seemed uneasy and overly emotional about Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death.
This will click some missing pieces into place for Hope, but she’ll have new questions as well. For starters, Hope will want to know why Liam didn’t call paramedics and stick around to give his statement to the cops. Hitting Vinny was an accident, not murder.
Of course, Liam will have to explain that he passed out in the aftermath. That gave Bill the chance to dispose of the evidence and put Liam in the passenger side of the car.
By the time Liam woke up, he was trapped in a cover-up – and then Bill convinced his son that keeping quiet was for the best.
Hope will believe Liam when he assures her Vinny’s death wasn’t intentional. She’ll think Liam has made some horrible choices that could come back to haunt him, but she’ll get that Bill was manipulating the situation.
Liam has been upset and vulnerable, so Hope will hold Bill responsible for steering him down this awful path.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam’s admission will play out over the next couple episodes – setting the stage for Hope to take out all her anger and frustration on Bill during the week of May 24-28.
In the meantime, Wyatt will feel the need to barge in Bill’s office and shut down the confrontation that’s going on. Bill has been saying some cruel things to Thomas, particularly about Vinny’s death and this whole hit-and-run situation.
Since Bill’s failing to recognize that a human life has been lost, Thomas is about to let him have it.
Bill won’t just stand there and take what Thomas dishes out. B&B spoilers say Bill will let his own fury erupt, so this will become a knockdown drag-out right before Wyatt arrives.
Wyatt will feel stuck in the middle briefly, but he’ll try to remove Thomas from the situation entirely and convince Bill to settle down before he loses all control.
When Wyatt realizes Vinny was the topic that led to Bill’s outburst, it seems he’ll sense a link between that and Bill’s bad attitude lately. Wyatt will get a major clue soon about Bill’s big secret and the conflict he’s been having with Liam, so more Spencer family drama’s in store.
Although Wyatt may not figure out exactly what went down just yet, he’ll be on the right track!
