The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, April 12, teases that Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will send Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) back out into the world – and that’ll bring added risks. Bill has spent the last few episodes arguing with Liam about how he couldn’t go to the cops.
However, Liam can’t stay at Bill’s house forever. As Bill pointed out, they have to get back to their normal lives. Liam doesn’t know how he’s ever supposed to live normally again, but Bill will need his son to do what he’s told and just get over it.
Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) is dead, so Bill feels like Liam has to put the accident behind him and ditch all the negative vibes.
There’s no way Liam will be able to do that with such a massive secret hanging over him, so the best Bill can hope for is that Liam will keep quiet and avoid the police station.
As for Bill, he’ll make a bigger mess in Monday’s B&B episode. Bill will weave a tangled web of deception due to the cover-up he set in motion.
Bill’s already been lying to Justin Barber (Aaron D. Spears) about his reasons for making a deal with Sheik Abdul and sending the car to the Middle East.
Who will Bill lie to next? Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) are certainly options, but you can bet Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) will be deceived for sure.
Bill and Wyatt will cross paths at the office sooner or later, so we’ll see if Wyatt senses something’s off.
Regardless, Bill will lie to people he cares about – and those lies will snowball to make this cover-up more problematic. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Bill will have to think fast throughout this storyline and come up with some new strategies.
Meanwhile, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will still be in shock as he stands in the morgue. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) called Thomas to identify the latest hit-and-run victim, so Thomas was immediately hit with a wave of grief when he saw it was Vinny.
It’s a good thing Hope came along since Thomas is really going to need a sympathetic ear. Thomas will provide official confirmation on this body belonging to Vinny.
Thomas will let Finn and Dr. Ricks (Vasthy Mompoint) know how to reach any family members that need to be notified. Thomas might even want to make the necessary calls himself under the circumstances.
Of course, Vinny may not have that many people to call! That’s probably part of why Vinny has always been so tight with Thomas. We might hear Thomas talk about how Vinny was like a brother in a way.
They were definitely close friends from grade school onward, so the idea of Vinny being gone so suddenly will be tough for Thomas to accept. Thomas may regret never getting the chance to patch things up with Vinny.
Their last conversation was no doubt tense and full of angry declarations, so Thomas will have to live with that.
Thomas will feel like his only real friend is gone, but Hope can remind Thomas that she’s his friend now, too. They’ve moved past the blunders Thomas made when he was obsessed, which is great news since Thomas will be an emotional wreck.
Hope will listen as Thomas confides how he’s feeling and mourns the loss.
Naturally, Thomas will also want answers about Vinny’s death, so he may vow to get them. Since Thomas’ buddy was mowed down and left dead on the side of the road, he can’t just let this go! Thomas will hope to make sense of what he views as a truly vicious act.
Liam and Hope will have to meet up eventually, so that’ll bring Liam’s first real challenge since the cover-up kicked off. He’ll have to explain why he missed his lunch date and listen to Hope open up about Thomas’ terrible grief.
Whether that conversation happens Monday or perhaps a bit later in the week, it’ll be brutal for Liam.
