The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, August 23, teases that Jack Finnegan (Ted King) will strike a dangerous deal with Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) – and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will have a gift for Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
Jack is certainly on edge now that Sheila’s bringing their sizzling history into the conflict. The last thing Jack wants is for Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) to find out he cheated with Sheila and then talked Li into raising their secret child.
Jack isn’t keen on John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) finding out either since he’s lied to him all his life. In other words, Jack’s world will be blown apart if Li and Finn discover he’s actually Finn’s biological father.
Sheila knows this and plans to exploit Jack’s weak spot with a new ultimatum, so Jack will land in a real jam.
B&B spoilers say Jack will wonder what it’s going to take for Sheila to leave LA and never look back.
Sheila will claim she’s willing to keep her distance again – but only if she can meet Hayes Forrester Finnegan and see Finn one final time.
Since Sheila was previously snapping about how she wanted a real relationship and refusing to go anywhere, it’s easy to see why Jack will doubt her sincerity.
Jack will feel like this is just going to be a “give her an inch and she’ll take a mile” scenario. He won’t put much faith in Sheila keeping her end of the bargain, but he’ll have to make that bargain nonetheless.
Jack will be prepared to talk to Finn and try to set up a meeting that Sheila can be part of. He may warn that he can’t make any promises, but Sheila might remind Jack that he’s highly motivated to make this visit happen.
If Jack fails, there’ll be extreme consequences since Sheila’s certainly willing to blab about his bio dad status.
While Jack cuts a deal with wild Sheila, Ridge and Brooke will discuss how this nightmare of a woman’s back in their lives.
They’ll hope to push Sheila back out of the picture permanently, but the best thing to do right now is take a breather and concentrate on something else.
Brooke will have a special treat for Ridge since she’ll don some steamy lingerie and give him a back rub.
Brooke will try to massage some of the worry out of her husband, but Ridge will remain concerned about Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the kids.
Nevertheless, Brooke and Ridge should succeed in distracting each other for at least a scene or two.
There’ll be some lovey-dovey moments for “Bridge,” so it’s nice that this couple’s on solid ground during a time of family crisis.
