The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Monday, May 31, reveals that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) police station trip can’t be stopped, so he’ll land there soon enough.
Meanwhile, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will learn if she’s having a baby boy or girl with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) by her side.
Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will grow increasingly concerned over Liam’s radio silence, which he’ll view as a sign that Liam’s indeed going to confess. Liam might even pick up if Bill’s persistent enough and insist that this confession’s happening whether Bill likes it or not.
Hope has been wavering a bit now that it’s morning and the reality of all this is sinking in. Once Liam walks in that police station, there’ll be no turning back. Hope’s grasping the gravity of the situation and is hesitant to watch Liam light the match that blows up their life together.
Nevertheless, Hope will calm down and accept that Liam’s initial choice has to stand. At the start of their 24-hour promise, Liam pointed out they didn’t really need all that time to decide.
In Liam’s heart, he knows he can’t live with the guilt and be fully present for the people he loves. The only way for Liam to be a good husband and father is to come forward.
Liam will cling to hope that maybe things will work out OK in the end. Bill has repeatedly warned Liam that no judge or jury is going to buy his story – not when he had such a huge reason to hate Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) guts.
Hope is also concerned since Bill covered everything up and made Liam look guilty.
Nevertheless, Liam will hold onto the possibility that Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) will see this was an accident – one that spiraled out of control through bad decisions, but also one that never came with vengeful intentions.
Liam will head to the police station while Bill winds up in a mad dash across town to prevent this disastrous blunder. B&B spoilers say Bill won’t get his wish, but he’ll fight with everything he’s got!
Within the next couple episodes, Liam will have to resort to some trickery to keep Bill from stopping what he’s setting in motion.
In the meantime, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood will reprise her role as Steffy Forrester after her most recent maternity leave. Steffy will have an eventful first episode back since she’ll learn the gender of her unborn child.
Finn will be on cloud nine along with Steffy as they find out whether they’re having a bouncing baby boy or a beautiful baby girl.
You can bet Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) will be eager to get updates on whether she’ll have a brother or sister, so Finn and Steffy may resolve to tell her ASAP.
