The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 16, teases that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will all face a crushing blow.
Dr. Campbell (Tina Huang) will remind the group that Steffy and her baby’s well-being are what matters most. She’ll want everyone to keep that in mind as they prepare to hear the paternity test results.
Dr. Campbell will also offer a reminder about the results being 99-percent accurate before she delivers the big news. Steffy will push Dr. Campbell to tell her that Finn’s the father, but that’s not something the doc can do.
According to the paternity test results, Finn won’t be a match – and that means Liam will be the “baby daddy” at this point in the story.
Hope will yank her hand away from Liam’s and run of the room, so Liam will chase after her. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will catch up with Hope back at the cabin, which will look dark and bleak to set the tone for these scenes.
Liam will beg Hope to tell him they can get past this, but Hope will insist everything’s changed now that Liam’s having another child with Steffy.
There’ll be some heartbreaking moments as Liam fights for his marriage, but Hope will be an emotional mess. She’ll blast Liam for ruining what they built together and jeopardizing their family.
Hope will reflect on how quickly Liam could think the worst of her and give up on their relationship.
However, Liam will insist he wants Hope and the life they have together. He’ll assure Hope that he loves her and that’s never going to change.
Hope will listen to what Liam has to say, but she certainly won’t make any promises about their future after this paternity blow. It seems far more likely Liam and Hope will split, but Liam will keep fighting for the time being.
Back with Steffy, she’ll struggle to believe the paternity results are correct. Steffy will admit she really thought Finn was the father, but Dr. Campbell will insist the results disprove that.
Later, Finn will open up to Steffy back at the cliff house. Finn will confess he already thought of the baby as his, too. That’ll make it even tougher to accept that Finn’s daddy dreams have gone down the drain.
Finn will talk about how ready he was to be a father to this child and start a new chapter with Steffy. He’ll be uncertain of how he fits in Steffy’s life now that she’s expecting “Steam” kid number two.
Of course, Finn can still be part of this baby’s life – just like he’s part of Kelly Spencer’s (Avalon and Collette Gray) life now.
Even so, it’s not the same as Finn having the title of “Dad.” Steffy will understand that she’s asking a lot of Finn, but she’ll plead and hope he won’t give up on them as a couple. Finn will acknowledge that Steffy’s a one-of-a-kind woman.
Finn’s never met anyone else like Steffy, so she’ll beg him to not to run away from their connection and chemistry.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will get a visit from Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero). Vinny will have a white lab coat hanging on his arm when he arrives. He’ll mention a new job that requires clocking in, so that’ll serve as a paternity test tampering clue.
It appears Vinny’s new job is at the hospital, where he secretly could’ve made sure the results pointed in Liam’s direction. B&B fans can expect Vinny and Thomas to discuss Hope on Tuesday.
Vinny will note that Thomas loves Hope like no one else – and he’ll make it clear that “Thope” is still possible.
As Thomas’ friend, Vinny will insist he’d do anything for him. When it comes to Hope, Vinny will feel confident that Thomas has a chance with her if he sets his mind to it. We’ll bring you updates as other B&B details emerge.
