The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 9, teases that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will be a man with a plan.
Thomas will hope to keep moving in the right direction, so he’ll know it’s important to gain Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) trust back. If Thomas truly wants to rebuild his life, this is a crucial step forward.
Of course, Ridge trusted Thomas back when he was manipulating Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes). Thomas claimed he had changed, but he was still pulling secret strings and trying to secure a future with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
Ridge was hurt and disappointed in his son, but it seems like Thomas has made genuine changes this time around.
Thomas will have Ridge’s unconditional love on his side as he works to get Ridge to trust him again. Ridge should be far more willing to accept Thomas’ transformation than Brooke, so Thomas will have more work to do on her end.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will make some sort of deal with Brooke, so what conditions might these two agree on? Hope will likely be at the center of this agreement since she’s the person Brooke is most concerned about.
Brooke may worry about Thomas taking advantage of Hope’s problems with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). She might wonder what will stop Thomas from pouncing and trying to prey on Hope in a weak moment.
However, Thomas may insist he only wants to support Hope platonically. He might suggest a deal where if he crosses that friendship line, he’ll face consequences.
Thomas might promise to remove himself from Hope’s life entirely if he sees that he can’t handle being just friends.
Regardless, B&B fans will see some sort of deal between Brooke and Thomas soon enough. It sounds like whatever Thomas promises will set the stage for temptation and trouble down the road, so this deal could be a risky one.
In the meantime, let’s talk about Hope’s tough choice. After mulling over how complicated the situation with Liam has become, Hope will decide the fate of their marriage.
It sounds like Hope won’t even need to see the paternity test results to know how she’s going to feel. Hope may determine that if Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is indeed carrying Liam’s second child, then it’ll be the end of the road for “Lope.”
Liam should find himself even more nervous as he waits to see if this baby belongs to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) or not. The stakes will be higher than ever if Liam knows for sure Hope will divorce him over another “Steam” kid.
