The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, July 20, tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will face Brooke Forrester’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) shocking proposal while Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) enjoys the calm before the storm.
At Forrester Creations, Brooke will drop a bomb on Ridge and push him to consider a new business proposition.
The article Brooke set in motion named Brooke and Ridge co-CEOs, so Ridge quickly became uneasy over the blunder.
Ridge doesn’t want Steffy to feel snubbed in any way, but Brooke certainly didn’t seem concerned about Steffy’s feelings.
In fact, Brooke seems poised to use this mistake to her advantage. She may point out that becoming co-CEOs wouldn’t be such a bad thing under the circumstances.
Steffy’s on maternity leave, so this could give Brooke an opportunity to swoop in and fill in for her.
Naturally, Brooke might hope to stay in that role for good. Steffy’s all about family these days, so Brooke might think Ridge’s daughter would be happier if she took a permanent step away.
Ridge might agree to give Brooke the temporary gig, but anything beyond that might be up to Steffy.
Of course, there’s a chance that this is another surprise of Brooke’s if she ran this by Steffy in advance.
However, it’s also possible Brooke will simply be pouncing on an opportunity – one that could ultimately rile Steffy up.
Either way, Brooke is a Logan who’s hoping to establish a massive presence in Forrester territory.
That could lead to issues with Steffy, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) and even Ridge if Brooke’s plan doesn’t pan out as well as she thought.
It sounds like a Forrester storm could be brewing on B&B, but things will be calm for now at the cliff house.
John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will remain on edge over Steffy meeting his parents down the line, but he’ll put his concerns on hold when Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) drops by.
Paris will happily catch up with Steffy and Finn, who are definitely enjoying life as parents of their beloved newborn.
Finn, Steffy, Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Collette Gray) and Hayes Forrester Finnegan have all formed a sweet little family, so Paris will be ecstatic for them.
Paris will have a cute meeting with Hayes and run down the latest Forrester gossip – including the sorrow Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) endured due to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Quinn Fuller’s (Rena Sofer) fling.
Steffy and Paris should agree this has been a total nightmare for Eric Forrester (John McCook), too.
They’ll just hope this is the end of Eric’s suffering, but another betrayal’s looming since Quinn and Carter just can’t quit each other!
