The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Tuesday, March 16, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will deliver a shocker that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) certainly wasn’t expecting.
Liam’s been struggling over the thought of having yet another child with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and what this means for his marriage.
Liam understands that it just might be too much for Hope to get past, but he’d love another chance to move forward with the woman he loves.
Now that Liam has discovered Hope and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) having an important conversation at the cabin, he’s eager to find out what this is all about.
On Tuesday’s B&B episode, Hope will reveal what Thomas just informed her – that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is the true father of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby.
Liam will naturally wonder how that’s possible since the paternity results confirmed he was the bio dad.
Thomas may be the one to explain the confrontation in the lab and how he was able to pry the truth out of Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) with Finn backing him up. Once Liam hears that Thomas figured out Vinny’s manipulation, will he suspect Thomas of being involved?
That could be something that crosses Liam’s mind initially, but Hope might pipe up to insist that Thomas is the hero of this story, not the villain. Thomas didn’t approve of Vinny’s actions – and no one would’ve ever known the truth if Thomas hadn’t followed up on what he felt in his gut.
In the end, Liam may admit Thomas did everyone involved a favor and thank him for doing the right thing. Liam will probably ask if Steffy’s been told yet, so Thomas can assure Liam that Finn’s busy taking care of that as they speak.
Once Thomas gives Hope and Liam an opportunity to process this news alone, Liam will be facing a flood of emotions.
Once Liam moves past the shock and accepts the Finn father shocker as fact, he’ll hope this means Hope will give him another chance. However, Hope will think they have much more to talk about.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Hope will want to get to the heart of how Liam actually feels. Deep down, will Liam be upset about the daddy title being yanked away? Will Liam feel a pang of sadness over not being a father again?
These are crucial questions for Hope to ask as she tries to figure out if Liam’s really over Steffy and the family addition they could’ve had together.
Wednesday, March 17, will allow Liam and Hope to explore this topic in depth, but Hope may shift the conversation in an uncomfortable direction on Tuesday to set the stage for what’s next.
In the meantime, Steffy and Finn will feel like they’re on top of the world. B&B viewers know Finn just revealed the paternity deception to Steffy and confirmed that he’s the father of her unborn child.
That gave Steffy the green light to accept Finn’s offer of marriage, so they’ll still be riding an engagement high this Tuesday.
Steffy will marvel at how fast her sorrow turned to total elation. Finn will agree that these paternity updates are the best thing that could’ve happened. This will just be a moment for Finn and Steffy to come together as a couple – to celebrate their future now that their family’s locked in place.
