The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, August 25, teases that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) will surrender to Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) manipulation while Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) spreads infuriating news.
When Jack Finnegan (Ted Finnegan) showed up to deliver Sheila’s latest demand, Finn was floored since he thought Sheila was already out of the picture.
Now Jack’s insisting that Sheila will leave LA if Finn will just allow one more visit with him along with the chance to hold Hayes Forrester Finnegan.
Naturally, B&B spoilers say Finn’s first instinct will be to tell Jack absolutely not! He just got through telling Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) that he knew how critical it was to keep Sheila at a distance, so this goes against all the promises he’s made and reassurances he’s been trying to provide.
However, Jack will be highly motivated to convince Finn this is how they can get Sheila out of their lives forever.
Finn won’t see why he should believe that Sheila will keep her word, but Jack will still try to make his son understand this is the best path to freedom.
The biggest problem for Finn will come when Jack urges him to keep Steffy in the dark.
Finn will hate the idea of keeping a secret so massive from Steffy, but he’ll ultimately surrender to Sheila’s demand and agree to let her see him as well as hold Hayes.
Sheila will get updates on her manipulation working soon enough, so she’ll be pretty pleased with herself.
As for Carter, he’ll stun Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) by revealing an unexpected reconciliation.
Brooke and Ridge will hit the roof when they find out that Eric Forrester (John McCook) tore up the divorce papers, asked Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) to move back in and placed her portrait back up at the Forrester mansion.
Carter will spill the same lie he told Eric about keeping the portrait in storage, so we’ll see if Brooke raises an eyebrow at that. Brooke might be too livid to give that suspicious tidbit much thought since she’ll really be fuming over Quinn’s renewed grip on Eric.
Ridge will be hopping mad as well, so he’ll join Brooke in demanding answers from Eric just as soon as they can confront him.
Until then, Quinn should give Eric some comfort and positivity in the aftermath of his secret exposure. Eric has erectile dysfunction, but Quinn won’t want him to feel like any less of a man in her eyes.
Quinn loves Eric and is willing to stand by his side, but there could be more issues since Eric can’t perform his husbandly duties.
Will Quinn eventually drift back toward Carter as someone she can hit the sheets with? Time will tell, but The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Quinn will be all about Eric in this moment.
