The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, March 24, teases that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) will prepare to reveal her decision to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).
Hope just had a heartfelt conversation with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), who’s really hoping that her daughter can find a way to forgive Liam and keep her marriage intact.
Although Brooke acknowledged it was Hope’s call, she hates to see this relationship fall apart over Liam’s one night with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
However, the truth is this is about more than just one night. It’s about years and years of love triangle issues; it’s about broken trust and Liam’s inability to ever give Hope his full commitment.
In other words, that one night with Steffy was just the last straw. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam’s heart will sink as Hope admits she wants to separate. Liam will no doubt start stammering about how they can fix this if Hope will just give him one more chance.
Unfortunately, Hope just won’t think another chance is what’s needed at this point. What Hope really needs is time to think and space from her current husband. That’ll allow Hope to determine if she wants Liam to become her ex-husband down the road.
Liam will cry over Hope’s choice and remind her of his enduring love. He’ll struggle over moving out and creating this distance between them. From where Liam’s standing, that distance may be the worst possible thing they could do right now.
Liam would much rather spend more time with Hope and really put the work in to repair their fractured bond.
Nevertheless, Hope’s the one who was betrayed and she gets to decide how she heals from that. For Hope, the only path forward she’ll see is one where she flies solo – at least for a while.
Hope will plan to adjust to life on her own. She’ll want to see what it’s like to not have a united family with Liam, Beth Spencer (River Davidson and Madeline Valdez) and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri).
If Hope finds it unbearable, there could still be a shot at reconnection down the road. Even so, Hope won’t see like she’s got high hopes at this point. B&B fans will see Hope and Liam face some farewell moments.
Both of them will realize that a divorce could be waiting at the end of this trial separation period.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) will offer proof that he can be trusted – at least in Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) opinion. Ridge has been asking plenty of questions about Thomas’ feelings for Hope and warning him that she’s not an option.
Thomas has done his best to reassure his father, but he’ll do something on Wednesday that really seals the trust in Ridge’s mind. Alas, Brooke won’t think the words Thomas and trustworthy ever belong in the same sentence!
Brooke can’t deny that Thomas seems to be doing better, but she’s always going to be protective of Hope and worry Thomas will revert to his old obsessive tendencies.
Thomas will work hard to stay on this positive path and ignore any temptation that might lead back into fixated territory. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say that could become a far more difficult task once Thomas realizes Liam and Hope’s marriage may be over!
