The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, May 19, teases that Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) mood swings will push Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) to her limit while Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is set to land in enemy territory soon.
When Hope wakes up following her romantic night with Liam, she’ll still be living in “Lope” dreamland. It was a wonderful evening that brought Hope and Liam much closer, but emotional distance will soon creep in again.
As Liam wrestles with his guilt over Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death and the terrible secret he’s keeping, he’ll shut Hope out. It’ll leave Hope feeling like they’re not on the same page about their passionate encounter, which Liam certainly enjoyed at the time.
Hope just won’t understand why Liam isn’t happier about getting their marriage back on track, especially in the intimacy department. While Hope ponders the problems in her relationship, Liam will bail on her for a while and concentrate on Thomas.
Since Liam’s guilt will really be out of control on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Liam won’t be able to stop himself from apologizing. Thomas will listen as Liam expresses how sorry he is – most likely for his own judgment of Thomas and possibly his judgment of Vinny, too.
Liam may have some nice, compassionate things to say about Vinny as part of this apology.
Whatever the case, Thomas will find himself feeling both grateful and confused. Liam’s puzzling apology will definitely leave Thomas with a lot to think about as he prepares for his Eye on Fashion interview at Spencer Publications.
That interview will lead to trouble since Thomas will decide to make an angry stop at Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) office later this week.
In the meantime, Liam will meet up with Hope once more. When Liam continues to give off a peculiar, standoffish vibe, Hope will call him out for bottling up his feelings. She’ll be a bit fed up with all the secrecy and will just want Liam to be honest about whatever’s bothering him.
Hope will be determined to figure out what’s going on with Liam, so she’ll push him to trust her enough to come clean. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will fight to keep Hope out of the mess he’s landed in, but it’s clear that Liam’s guilty conscience is taking a toll like never before.
