The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) could get the last laugh with one final twist, so is there a chance Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) baby IS Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) after all? Will John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) face heartbreak?
Let’s consider Vinny’s mindset during all the paternity test results drama and just before he resorted to taking his own life. Vinny was all about giving Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) the future with Hope he so desperately desired.
After Thomas confronted him about the paternity test tampering, it became clear to Vinny that was NOT how Thomas wanted to get Hope back. Thomas was more concerned about Steffy and her happiness with Finn in that moment.
Since Vinny obviously had an irrational, over-the-top devotion to Thomas, who’s to say he didn’t just tell his buddy what he wanted to hear? Vinny easily could’ve decided that Thomas wanted his sister’s bliss more and lied that Finn was the true father.
Once Thomas was in his face demanding answers about the altered results and so worried about Steffy’s future, Vinny might’ve done his friend a different sort of solid. Since Vinny sent Steffy drugs that enabled her addiction, he kind of owed her a favor anyway!
In other words, perhaps Liam really was the father of Steffy’s baby, but Vinny opted to claim Finn was the true bio dad in the end. Vinny might’ve been lying since Thomas got so riled up.
Vinny could’ve determined it’d be better to let Thomas be the hero of the paternity story and just find an alternative path to making “Thope” happen.
That could’ve set the stage for Vinny to dive in front of Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) car with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) behind the wheel. Of course, it’s also possible Vinny just didn’t know what he was doing in the lab.
There’s always a chance that Vinny’s last laugh could come in the form of a simple mistake – meaning he goofed somewhere in the midst of all the tampering drama.
One way or another, Liam could still wind up being the father of Steffy’s baby if that’s a bomb B&B writers want to drop. If so, that could bring devastation for Hope and Finn following a stunning revelation!
