The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, April 14, reveals that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) continued to act overly upset on the phone.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) knew the news of Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death was a shock and pointed out that he didn’t deserve to be run down so heartlessly like that. Even so, Hope worried there was more going on with Liam.
Bill finally grabbed the phone and told Hope he needed Liam’s full attention for a crucial business decision. Hope seemed taken aback as Bill hung up. Bill insisted Liam shouldn’t pick up the phone again – not until his son could pull himself together.
Liam didn’t know how he could possibly keep this secret from Hope. Even if he wanted to, Liam felt Hope would see right through him since he was such a mess.
Bill insisted Liam couldn’t tell Hope or anyone else. He needed Liam to find a way to settle down and keep his mouth shut.
Liam didn’t think Bill was a criminal mastermind and assumed the cover-up wasn’t foolproof. Bill insisted he’d taken care of all of it and that nothing would lead back to Liam. “They won’t find one damn thing,” Bill insisted.
After Bill stepped out of the room to deal with a work call, Liam freaked as Vinny appeared to him. This Vinny vision ranted at Liam for leaving him there to die, but Liam frantically insisted he wanted to go back for him.
“You left me on the side of the road, Liam! Bleeding! Dying! You didn’t care; you just drove away!” this vengeful version of Vinny shouted. Liam kept rubbing his eyes trying to make this ghostly vision go away, but Vinny warned he wouldn’t get away with this.
Vinny made it clear that Liam would pay before Liam was left hyperventilating alone.
At Forrester Creations, Hope told Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) about how strange Liam’s reaction was. Liam didn’t even know Vinny that well, but Hope thought Liam seemed really affected by the news of the hit-and-run.
When Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) came in, Thomas offered updates on Vinny’s death. Ridge knew it couldn’t have been easy for Thomas to ID the body. Despite Vinny’s paternity test tampering, Ridge knew he shouldn’t be gone.
Thomas turned down Ridge’s offer to cancel a meeting and wanted to keep busy with work. Soon after, Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan White) arrived. Thomas thought Baker should be at the crime scene or somewhere else trying to solve this.
Deputy Chief Baker pointed out that they were trying to nail down a motive – to see if this was an accident or if somebody might’ve run Vinny down on purpose.
When Baker brought up the paternity test and how Thomas probably felt betrayed, Thomas was stunned. “What exactly are you implying? Do you think I had something do to with Vinny’s death?” Thomas asked looking irritated.
Next on Wednesday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) was hoping to make things right with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) and score another chance with Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor), too. As Zoe told Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) her plans, Carter came in for a file.
Zoe told Carter how she wanted to work hard and win his trust back. Although Carter appreciated the remorse and hoped Zoe could grow, he couldn’t be part of it right now. Zoe was saddened as Carter left, but Quinn noted that Carter didn’t say never.
Zoe felt stupid for messing everything up, but Quinn wanted the pity party to stop. She felt Zoe had to focus on how she would win Carter back. Quinn offered to try talking to Carter, which Zoe appreciated since anything might help.
Meanwhile, Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) marveled over Zoe deciding to support him as a couple with Paris. Zende just wished Zoe had realized how important her relationship with her sister was before she blew it with Carter.
When Carter appeared, he wondered if all anyone talked about anymore was his failed engagement. Zende insisted that they didn’t mean to gossip – and Paris backed him up since they were just rooting for Carter to potentially work things out with Zoe.
Paris had seen real effort and asked Carter if he could give Zoe another chance. Carter just wasn’t sure he could learn to trust Zoe again. Later, Quinn found Carter and insisted Zoe was being sincere. Carter looked suspicious as Quinn asked if they could talk about Zoe.
Back with Paris on Wednesday’s B&B episode, she got a visit from Zoe along with an apology. Zoe hoped she could repair her relationship with Paris as well as her relationship with Carter.
