The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 25, reveals that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) vowed specialists and whatever it took for Eric Forrester (John McCook) while Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) knocked on the cliff house door, which left John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) cornered.
On the private jet, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) apologized to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) for boarding late.
Hope was glad Steffy could even make time to come at all considering all the drama that’d been going on. Steffy admitted it was hard to leave her family and that she was imagining all the things that could go wrong.
Hope offered her support and understood that the Sheila situation was a lot to process. The pilot wasn’t taking off yet, which left Hope and Steffy wondering about the delay.
They soon learned they were holding for the weather in San Francisco, so Steffy thought maybe it was a sign that she should go home to Finn and Hayes Forrester Finnegan.
At the cliff house on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Finn was outraged over Jack Finnegan (Ted King) urging him to let Sheila visit Hayes.
Finn thought it was crazy, but Jack said it had to be done. He felt this might be the only way to protect Finn’s family and make sure Sheila was gone forever.
Jack also suggested this was the perfect time since Steffy was out of town and no one would be the wiser.
Finn said there was no way he’d allow Sheila to see Hayes. He couldn’t believe Jack was pushing him to do this and lie to Steffy about it.
However, Jack went ahead and sent Sheila a text telling her this was a good time to come to the house. Sheila was eager to meet her grandson and headed off while Finn and Jack continued to argue.
Jack told Jack so much was at stake for all of them – more than Finn knew. He felt this would be the ideal scenario since it’d be a controlled environment and would happen on Finn’s terms.
Jack suggested that Sheila simply wanted to meet her grandchild and wasn’t looking to blow up Finn’s life.
Finn was concerned about Sheila holding Hayes and feeling an even stronger connection. He wasn’t as certain this one visit would be the end of it, but Jack kept pushing.
Finn pushed right back since he promised Steffy no contact with Sheila whatsoever and gave her his word that he’d protect their family. Jack countered that’s what Finn would be doing with this visit.
After Sheila knocked on the door, Jack insisted Finn had to do it and reiterated that they’d be done with Sheila once and for all.
At the Forrester mansion, Quinn assured Eric that he had nothing to be ashamed of. Eric disagreed since he was ashamed that he’d let Quinn believe she was the problem.
Eric ranted about erectile dysfunction being a joke and a punchline. Eric felt the man Quinn came home to wasn’t the same man she married and was so sorry.
Eric hated that he couldn’t make love to his beautiful wife and feared he’d never be able to again. He blamed himself for driving a wedge between them, but Quinn didn’t want to talk about blame anymore.
Quinn insisted that they’d overcome so much and added that she wanted to be his support system now.
Quinn said they’d get doctors, specialists and whatever it took – that they’d get through this together as husband and wife. Eric and Quinn then shared an emotional hug.
At Forrester Creations, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) admitted to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that Eric had called off the divorce.
Ridge and Brooke immediately held Quinn responsible, but Carter argued this was 100-percent Eric’s choice.
Carter insisted that Quinn was stunned and deeply moved over her portrait going back up, but Brooke felt she was simply relieved that her plan worked!
After Carter said he was happy for the reunited couple, he hoped Ridge and Brooke could be happy for them, too.
Brooke asked Carter if he’d fallen for Quinn, but Carter sidestepped the question and focused on Quinn’s renewed bliss with Eric.
Brooke and Ridge obviously didn’t approve, so they left the office to talk some sense into Eric if possible.
Once Carter was alone, he seemed glum as he thought back on exchanging love declarations with Quinn.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Carter will try to move on, but it won’t be easy!
