The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, August 4, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) made a bad luck move the night before tying the knot. Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) also made a prediction about the new chapter ahead, so here’s how things went down in Wednesday’s B&B episode.
At the cabin, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) suggested that Steffy seemed to like Finn’s parents, so Liam talked about how important it was to get along with your in-laws.
Hope wondered if Liam was always kissing up to Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) because he didn’t want to be on her bad side, but Liam denied it.
Liam added that Brooke was “genetically engineered in a lab to be the perfect mother-in-law” – and Brooke overheard that comment.
Hope laughed about it being further proof that Liam kissed up to Brooke, who eventually learned Steffy came by and asked Hope to be her matron of honor.
That news came as a big surprise to Brooke, but she was glad that Hope accepted Steffy’s offer.
Liam knew the drama between Steffy and Hope over the years had mostly been because of him, but he predicted there was a happy ending in sight for all four of them – Hope and Liam along with Steffy and Finn.
Later, Hope approached a shirtless Liam alone once the kids were down for the night. Liam gushed over how grateful he was for their bright future and felt so lucky to be with Hope.
Liam insisted he loved Hope more than he ever thought it was possible to love someone, so Hope kissed him passionately.
When Steffy returned to the cliff house, she found a romantic candlelight setup along with a shirtless Finn.
After they discussed how Jack Finnegan (Ted King) would be Finn’s best man and Hope would be Steffy’s matron of honor, Finn said tonight was about celebrating Steffy.
Steffy pointed out that they were tempting fate since the bride and groom shouldn’t be staying together the night before the wedding.
Finn suggested he didn’t know Steffy was so superstitious, so she shrugged that she wasn’t and quickly moved on.
After Finn talked about how much his bride-to-be lit up his life, Steffy opened up about how much the handsome doctor had transformed her own.
Finn and Steffy shared some passionate moments as they looked forward to their wedding tomorrow.
At Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) place, he could tell Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) wasn’t quite herself.
Quinn mentioned Steffy’s upcoming wedding at her former home, so Carter understood this must’ve brought some tough emotions about everything Quinn had given up.
Although Quinn was feeling reflective about Eric Forrester (John McCook) and her old life, she wasn’t feeling sorry for herself – not with Carter right in front of her.
Quinn insisted that Carter made her feel alive even when they were apart, but tonight she wanted to be with him. The pair made love, so Carter gave Quinn the comfort she needed.
