The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, December 8, reveals that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) admitted she never forgave Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) for stealing Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) from Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), so she dragged her stepmom for her past sins.
At Ill Giardino on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) assumed Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was worried about that “scumbag” Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).
Bill warned that Liam couldn’t let Deacon exploit the opening Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) was giving him and was concerned about his son’s marriage.
Liam acknowledged that Hope had been waiting for Deacon to step up and be a father for years.
Even so, Bill didn’t trust Deacon and felt Liam should prioritize protecting his family. He urged Liam to do whatever it took to keep Hope and the children away from Deacon.
At the cabin, Hope hated that Deacon was already becoming a problem in Brooke’s marriage.
Deacon walked in and said he didn’t want his daughter feeling terrible about anything. He pretended to be surprised by the news that Ridge kicked Hope out and suggested that was harsh.
However, Deacon argued that it was Brooke’s house and wondered if Ridge actually thought Brooke would let him bully Hope out the door. Brooke made it clear that she loved having Hope, Liam and the kids so close.
Brooke shared a tender moment with her daughter, so Deacon watched and said that’s what he wanted as well – the chance to make memories and be a family.
Hope fully intended to give Deacon this second chance and assured him that he wasn’t a bad person or a threat. She felt anyone questioning her judgment would have to accept it.
Deacon thought it was natural for him to want a relationship with his kid and praised Brooke for all her support, which meant more than he could put into words.
At Forrester Creations, Ridge got riled up over Steffy acting like his wife wasn’t worth the trouble. Steffy reiterated that Ridge had another family, which included Taylor. She again posed the question of whether Brooke was worth all the angst and frustration she caused.
Ridge didn’t blame Brooke and felt Deacon was the real problem, but he did express frustration over her inviting the guy back into her life with open arms.
When Ridge warned that Brooke couldn’t let Deacon in, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) thought it seemed like she already had.
Steffy argued that they weren’t meaning to drag Brooke, but she had to acknowledge the shady path she took with Deacon.
Steffy ranted about Brooke’s affair with her daughter’s husband and implied Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) didn’t come home much because of it.
Thomas mentioned the great memories he had from when he was younger. Steffy had good memories, too – until Brooke took Ridge away from his family with Taylor.
Ridge assumed Steffy had never forgiven Brooke for that, so Steffy admitted that she honestly hadn’t.
Steffy felt Brooke was adding fuel to the fire of this Deacon situation, but she praised Taylor as a good human being who always wanted what was best for Ridge. Thomas felt like Ridge was worried about what would happen if Deacon stuck around.
Steffy wondered when Ridge was going to get tired of Brooke’s drama and come home.
Steffy said they didn’t want to see Ridge hurting and added that they missed their family. Ridge seemed unsettled as he accepted Steffy’s comforting hug.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Taylor’s comeback is set to shake things up soon, so Ridge will have a chance to grow closer to his ex.
