The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, June 30, reveals that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) threatened to have Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) fired while Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) eavesdropped.
At Forrester Creations on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) spoke to Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) about her work trip and insisted Quinn would understand along with Eric Forrester (John McCook). He pushed Zoe to call him before her flight to Paris took off.
Paris entered and admitted she didn’t think she could go to the vow renewal knowing what Quinn did. However, Carter was adamant that this was a new day for all of them – particularly Quinn and Eric.
In the main office, Brooke suggested Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) had a legitimate excuse to get out of the vow renewal if he wanted since Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) was in labor. Ridge felt he should support Eric, especially since he didn’t attend the actual wedding.
In an upstairs Forrester mansion bedroom, Quinn told Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards) that she couldn’t take back cheating with Carter, but she intended to be devoted to Eric from now on. Quinn vowed not to let anyone stand in the way of her happy marriage.
Downstairs, Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) wasn’t keen on talking about Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont). He kept the focus on Eric’s big day with Quinn and acknowledged that his mother wasn’t always a walk in the park!
After Paris arrived, it was mentioned that Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) was out of town. Carter briefly panicked when his tryst was brought up, but he then realized Eric was hoping he wouldn’t be uncomfortable due to Shauna’s presence.
Back with Quinn, she insisted Eric would never forgive her if he found out what happened with Carter. Shauna said Quinn would be signing divorce papers instead of renewing vows, but Quinn didn’t even want to think about that. She intended to start anew as long as Paris kept her mouth shut.
Suddenly, Brooke appeared and wondered what was being said about Paris. Shauna covered by suggesting it was about the Forrester Foundation before Brooke requested a moment alone with Quinn.
Shauna headed downstairs, so that gave Brooke a chance to argue with Quinn again. Brooke insisted she was there to support Eric as well as Ridge. She added that she’d always protect Eric from people like Quinn, but Quinn fired back that Eric didn’t need protection from her.
Brooke didn’t see how Quinn could say that considering she let Eric down over and over again. Paris listened outside the door as the confrontation continued. Quinn kicked Brooke out of the house, but Brooke countered that she couldn’t since it belonged to Eric.
Quinn disagreed and suggested Eric would want Brooke gone anyway if he knew she was disrespecting their marriage like this. Brooke said she’d pray for “poor Eric” since he was going to need it and sauntered out. Paris ducked out of sight and then confronted Quinn moments later.
The sight of Paris angered Quinn, who grumbled about warning Paris not to come. Paris wondered how Quinn could go through with this vow renewal under the circumstances. However, Quinn fired back that Paris knew nothing about her or what she’d been through in her marriage.
Quinn didn’t want Paris getting all sanctimonious and pointed out that life was complicated. She argued that things were messy, so people make mistakes and grow. Quinn felt she was a work in progress just like Paris or anyone else. She refused to let Paris ruin her life and future with Eric, so she promised to ruin Paris’ life if she tried.
Quinn vowed to take away everything Paris loved – starting with her job at Forrester Creations. Brooke listened with wide eyes outside as Quinn tried to threaten Paris into keeping quiet. Back downstairs, Ridge tried to talk to a distracted Carter. He assumed it was because Carter didn’t think Quinn was right for Eric.
At the cliff house, Joanne (Christina Carlisi) arrived to help out with the impending bundle of joy. Steffy assured John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Joanne that she was still all in on a home birth. After Steffy walked around in labor and danced with Finn, the pool was ready.
Steffy eventually got in and began to push once she was fully dilated. Finn held Steffy close as she groaned in pain – ready to bring their baby boy into the world. We’ll pass along updates as other B&B news rolls in.
