The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Wednesday, March 31, reveals that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) argued that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) obsession was behind him, but Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) didn’t believe that.
Brooke felt like Thomas was waiting for his chance and didn’t want him to take advantage of Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) separation.
Ridge was frustrated to be going over this again, but Brooke didn’t want to let her guard down when it came to her daughter. Thomas entered and admitted he’d been listening in.
He understood why Brooke would be protective of Hope and wary of him – though Thomas added that he’d always be there for Hope.
Ridge didn’t think Thomas should have to defend himself and was reluctant to leave when he got updates on a new shipment. However, Thomas pushed Ridge to go ahead – and Ridge warned Brooke to play nice as he headed out the door.
Thomas told Brooke that he took responsibility for the past and felt this time was different. Being in the hospital like that scared Thomas and changed his perspective.
Thomas started being grateful and wanted to repair his relationship with Brooke. He hoped that maybe he could regain Brooke’s trust and help them move forward as a family.
Brooke acknowledged that Thomas worked with Hope on the line and co-parented Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) with her. That was where it had to end in Brooke’s opinion. Brooke warned Thomas that Hope was NOT an option for him.
After Brooke talked about Thomas becoming a better father, he brought the conversation back to what a big help Hope was. Brooke found it concerning the way it always comes back to Hope for Thomas.
Thomas felt like Brooke was getting defensive and argued there was no need to be suspicious.
Brooke insisted that although she wasn’t happy about Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) night with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), she still knew Hope’s happiness was with Liam.
Brooke was adamant that Liam and Hope would get back together. Thomas said that’d be great, but he added that their opinions on Liam differed.
After Thomas talked about how many times Liam had hurt Hope and Steffy, he made a “once a womanizer, always a womanized” comment. Brooke ranted about how she could see Thomas’ obsession in his eyes and hear it in his voice.
Brooke asked if Hope was like a drug to Thomas and declared that Thomas would NEVER be with her daughter.
Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) didn’t want to pry, but she assured Hope she was there for her. Hope admitted things with Liam had been difficult, so Paris pointed out that helping people was her specialty. She wished she could magically make Hope’s heartache disappear.
Hope admitted the kids don’t fully understand and she didn’t want this to affect them too much. Paris was sure that the children would continue to feel safe and loved. She felt Hope was doing an amazing job at a mom.
Hope pointed out Liam was still checking in and stepping up as a dad. Paris pointed out that Hope had Thomas to rely on as well, so Hope got a bit uncomfortable.
Paris picked up on the mood shift and felt she’d done something wrong, but Hope insisted she hadn’t. Although Hope had a complicated past with Thomas, she gave him credit as a father and for his work on the line. Ridge came in and mentioned that he’d heard Thomas’ name.
After Ridge praised Thomas as a designer, he suggested that Thomas wants Hope to be happy more than anything. In a moment alone, Ridge wanted Hope to know that Thomas was better.
Ridge admitted Thomas still loved Hope, but he wasn’t obsessed anymore and genuinely wanted what was best for her.
At Spencer Publications on Wednesday’s B&B episode, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) teased Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) about his spontaneous marriage proposal and how Flo Logan (Katrina Bowden) didn’t have time to think it through.
However, Bill eventually admitted he was just busting Wyatt’s chops. He was happy for Wyatt – and Liam also wished Wyatt a lifetime of happiness with Flo.
Bill assured Liam that he was welcome to stay at his place as long as he needed to. Liam kept trying to remind himself that the situation with Hope was temporary.
Bill wondered about Wyatt’s wedding plans, but Wyatt said they really hadn’t had a chance to figure anything out yet.
Bill insisted he could be Wyatt’s best man and noted that his son didn’t even have to ask. Wyatt thought that was good since he wasn’t planning on it!
Bill joked about having organic bamboo sheets and tofu for Liam back at the house. He was glad to have Liam there since Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Will Spencer (Finnegan George) were both staying at Katie’s place.
Nevertheless, Bill felt like he’d get his family back and so would Liam. He even suggested Liam should get Ed Sheeran to parachute onto the property. Bill wanted Liam to pull out all the stops to reunite with Hope and pushed him not to lose faith.
On Wednesday’s Bold and the Beautiful episode, Bill added that Liam had to build trust with Hope brick by brick. Liam felt he took being Hope’s husband for granted, but Wyatt argued that his brother made a mistake. Bill thought Liam had to woo Hope – everything from writing poems and sending flowers.
Liam argued that Hope wants space, but he believed they’d be stronger than they ever were before in time. He promised he wasn’t giving up on his wife. Once Liam was alone, he looked at family pics on his phone and flashed back to romantic moments he had shared with Hope.
We’ll pass along updates as other B&B news rolls in. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Liam will make some daring moves for Hope’s sake soon, so stay tuned. CDL will have tons of other terrific Bold and the Beautiful spoilers, news and updates for you, so pop back in soon.
