The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Wednesday, October 20 Recap – Katie & Carter’s Flirty Date – Zende Fears Thomas' Paris Spark

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, October 20, reveals that Katie Logan (Heather Tom) and Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) essentially had a flirty lunch date. Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) also wondered if he should be concerned about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) feeling a spark with Paris Buckingham (Diamond White).

At the Forrester mansion, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) got snarky about Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) while Carter was over to talk business with Eric Forrester (John McCook).

Eric wanted to hear about Carter’s feelings for Quinn and whether he could move on.

Although Carter had a connection with Quinn that went beyond the physical and moving on was a process, he assured Eric that things were over.

Carter knew that the arrangement Eric said he was OK with wasn’t really OK. He apologized for all of it, so Eric believed that Carter was deeply sorry.

That said, Eric had to wonder if Carter still had residual feelings for Quinn and perhaps always would.

Carter insisted that Quinn was committed to her marriage – and whatever they had was done. He was all about looking forward, not back.

Once Carter was gone, Eric assured Ridge that everything that had happened was behind them.

Eric felt like Carter was a fine man and would find love with the right woman. “Maybe sooner than we think,” Eric said on Wednesday’s B&B episode.

During brunch at Ill Giardino, Katie told Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) that Carter surprised her. Carter really loved Quinn – or at least thought he did.

Katie went to Carter’s place ready to put him on full blast, but she wound up empathizing with him and realized just how much they had in common.

Carter was looking for somebody to spend his life with – and so was lonely Katie. She just wasn’t sure the person she wanted to spend her life with was Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

Talk turned to Donna’s boring life, so Brooke and Katie urged her to put herself back out there. Donna insisted Eric was the only man for her, but she thought it was pointless to come clean since he wouldn’t leave Quinn for her.

Brooke insisted that Eric would never be truly happy with Quinn, so Donna thought that begged the question of how Quinn managed to snag two terrific guys like Eric and Carter.

The Logan sisters gushed over what a good man Carter was – not to mention gorgeous!

Katie stayed behind to pay the check, so she was alone when Carter appeared for lunch by himself. Since Katie was still a bit hungry, she offered to join Carter.

Katie and Carter were thankful they were able to set each other straight about their wrong assumptions. After Carter pointed out it was no fun being alone, Katie replied they weren’t alone now and exchanged a smile with him.

At Zende’s place, he canoodled with Paris as they gushed over their incredible night. Zende tried to initiate lovemaking again, but Paris reminded him they were already late for the Hope for the Future meeting.

Zende wanted Paris to know that she was his own personal hope for the future.

At Forrester Creations, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) wondered where Zende and Paris were since it was getting late. Thomas assumed Paris was still at Zende’s place since she went over there for romantic evening last night.

Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) saw no sign of missing Paris and Zende, so he offered to put out an APB.

Hope suggested that wouldn’t be necessary and let Charlie get back to his usual duties. Soon after, Zende and Paris appeared with the excuse that they overslept.

Once Thomas asked to speak with Paris in the design office, Hope teased Zende about coming up with a better excuse next time. She explained that Thomas had tipped her off to Paris staying with Zende, so Zende admitted it was an unforgettable evening.

In fact, Zende was starting to see his future a lot more clearly – and it was all about Paris.

Since Hope had basically figured it out, Zende admitted he’d taken things to the next level with Paris.

Hope suggested Paris was great and added that even Zende’s “curmudgeonly cousin” Thomas thought she was special. That news led to a worried look from Zende.

Although Zende wasn’t insecure, he didn’t want to be naïve either. He asked if he should be concerned, but Hope said she spoke with Thomas and learned he was happy for both Zende and Paris.

In the design office, Thomas noted that contributions to the Forrester Foundation had doubled in less than a year.

Thomas didn’t think it took a genius to figure out why and praised Paris – though he didn’t think it was necessary to offer bogus excuses about being late.

Thomas pointed out that he knew Paris didn’t come home last night. He thought maybe he should take a page out of Zende’s playbook since his cousin seemed to be doing pretty well in the romance department.

Thomas insisted that Zende had an incredible woman by his side and thought Zende was one lucky guy.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Zende could indeed have a reason to worry, so stay tuned!
