The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 1, teases that Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) will learn Carter Walton’s (Lawrence Saint-Victor) secret while John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) crumbles over Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) bombshell.
It broke Quinn’s heart to walk away from Carter and the love they shared, but Carter gave her the push she needed.
Now that Quinn knows about Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) erectile dysfunction, she feels even more confident in that choice.
Quinn wants to be the person Eric leans on and help him through this difficult time.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Quinn’s forgotten about Carter and all the sizzling they did behind closed doors.
Carter certainly hasn’t forgotten either and will soon come clean about something on his mind. Quinn will be brought in the loop on some secret Carter’s been keeping, though it may not be much of a surprise.
Carter might open up about how much he’s missed Quinn and even admit part of him was hopeful about another chance to be together.
Although Carter urged Quinn to reunite with Eric, perhaps he was clinging to the possibility that Quinn might have a change of heart and choose him instead.
However, Carter will understand that Quinn can’t bail on Eric and their attempt to fully repair their marriage.
Quinn may not want to betray Eric’s confidence by going into ED details, but she could at least allude to issues that have come to light and insist she has to be right by her husband’s side.
As this conversation winds down, Carter will get that his chapter with Quinn is truly closed.
That doesn’t mean a new one won’t start up somewhere down the line, but Carter will make peace with this goodbye for now.
In the meantime, Steffy will shock Finn with a big announcement involving their marriage certificate. She won’t be able to sign or file it with the dark cloud of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) hanging over them.
Steffy and Finn’s marriage isn’t legal yet – and it won’t be anytime soon based on Steffy’s firm stance on the matter.
Finn will obviously be heartbroken over Steffy’s decision, but he may promise to earn her trust back and convince her they belong together forever.
