The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers recap for Wednesday, September 15, reveals that Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) hinted at more Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) babies while Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) suspected Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) might have leverage. Here’s how it all went down on Wednesday’s B&B episode.
At home, Eric Forrester (John McCook) insisted he was trying to be realistic since he didn’t think the doctors could do anything for him. He wanted Quinn to be realistic about her needs as well and once again insisted that passionate part of her life didn’t have to be over.
At the office, Ridge found Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) deep in thought and assumed he was thinking about Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), who was killing it in Paris.
When Ridge asked if Carter had any regrets, Carter alluded to having regrets about a lot of things.
Ridge mentioned that Eric had a proposition he wanted to run by Carter, which left the lawyer on edge. Ridge was puzzled by Carter’s demeanor and wanted to know what was going on.
Later, Eric showed up and acted strange as Ridge talked about the proposal. It seemed strange to Ridge, who thought it was a big price to pay.
Eric pushed Ridge to confirm he was talking about a new boutique acquisition, so Ridge wondered what else he’d be talking about. He sensed that Eric was fuzzy and thought maybe his dad was tired from reconnecting with Quinn.
Ridge needed help to understand how Eric went from wanting Quinn gone to suddenly taking her back and putting that “ugly portrait” back up.
Eric argued that he’d explained it over and over to Ridge and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), but Ridge didn’t think Eric had revealed much of anything at all.
Ridge asked if Eric had forgotten about Quinn’s affair – about her little relationship with Carter that blew up their marriage. Eric insisted he hadn’t forgotten and wouldn’t forget, but he felt it was complicated.
“Is Quinn holding something over you?” Ridge asked. Eric shut down that idea, but Ridge kept pestering him for the truth.
If there was something going on, Ridge felt like he could be the one Eric opened up to. He asked Eric if there was something he should know.
Meanwhile, Quinn spoke with Carter privately about their tricky situation. She couldn’t tell if Eric was relieved or not that they didn’t sleep together.
All of this was so conflicting and confusing to Quinn, who knew Eric didn’t want her to live a life without passion and desire.
Quinn told Eric she’d forgo all that because being his wife was enough, but Carter wondered if that was really true.
Quinn confessed she wasn’t sure, though she kept telling herself it was. “We can’t possibly do what my husband is asking? Can we?” Quinn asked Carter nervously.
At the cliff house, Liam and Hope were hanging out with John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) while the nanny was on the beach with the kids – except for Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriot), who was in Finn’s arms.
Steffy and Finn talked about how there was nothing like being a new mom and a new dad. Hope piped up that she thought she could have 20 more! “What? WHAT?! Little ambitious, don’t you think?” Liam replied.
Talk eventually turned to Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) collapse and hospitalization, but Steffy insisted it was all a plot that didn’t work.
Finn confessed to being torn since he’d wanted to meet his birth mother for years and never expected a woman like Sheila.
Steffy assured Liam that Sheila wouldn’t be anywhere near Kelly. She pointed out that Finn put his foot down so that Sheila wouldn’t come near their family ever again. Finn seemed rather uncomfortable, so he pushed for a subject change.
Liam just wanted to make a quick speech first about how impressed he was with how Finn and Steffy had handled all this.
Liam felt Steffy and Finn’s love was more powerful than any adversity they would face, including Sheila.
Finn suggested he couldn’t have said it better himself and praised Steffy for being their family’s fierce, fearless rock. The smitten doc added that he’d never loved anyone the way he loved Steffy.
