The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week of August 16-20 tease that John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) will make a secret pact while Jack Finnegan (Ted King) and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) have a showdown. Eric Forrester (John McCook) will also stun Quinn Fuller (Rena Sofer) with a reunion pitch, so here’s what fans can look forward to.
First, Finn will decide to keep a massive secret from Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Despite Steffy’s desire to cut off all contact with Sheila, Finn will start exchanging texts with his birth mother.
Although Finn won’t like hiding things from Steffy, he’ll feel like he has no choice since she’d freak if she knew what he was doing.
Finn will want to avoid the backlash while he tests the waters with Sheila, but the secret will quickly start to weigh on him. Since Finn will need someone to talk to, he’ll turn to Paris for comfort and compassion.
Paris will get updates on the secret texting and understand Finn’s perspective, so their friendship and alliance will grow stronger.
After Paris promises she won’t breathe a word of this to Steffy, she’ll create a pact with Finn and get closer to him in the process.
As for Sheila, she’ll become increasingly convinced that she has to find some way to remain part of Finn’s life indefinitely. Sheila will no doubt be thinking about her grandson as well.
Sheila will want a spot in Finn’s world as well as Hayes Forrester Finnegan’s, but it won’t be that simple considering how much the Forresters hate her.
B&B spoilers say Jack will approach Sheila for a major showdown, so he’ll warn her to stay away from Finn and the Forresters.
Jack will think Sheila’s done enough damage, but Sheila won’t be willing to back off and just might blackmail Jack to keep him in line.
In the meantime, Carter will wonder if he should just come clean about his Quinn romance and let the chips fall where they may.
While Carter contemplates going public, Quinn will get a jaw-dropping surprise when she shows up for a meeting about signing the divorce papers. It turns out Eric won’t want to sign them at all!
Eric will be ready to own up to his own mistakes and repair his marriage to Quinn, so he’ll wonder if that’s what she wants, too.
Afterward, Quinn will meet up with Carter as they declare love for each other and try to figure out this new obstacle to their future.
In the end, Quinn will reach a decision and begin a new chapter, but will that involve a clean slate with Eric or a true fresh start with Carter?
It could be tough for Quinn to walk away from her marriage under the circumstances, so stay tuned.
