The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers preview teases that things in Zoe Buckingham’s (Kiara Barnes) world are going to quickly come tumbling down. The new B&B preview promo for the week of February 1 is out, and it’s all about Zoe and the serious consequences she’ll face as a result of pursuing Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) as an engaged woman.
The new preview begins with Zoe telling Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) that she can’t wait to be his wife. But that’s not going to happen if Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) has anything to say about it.
As B&B viewers will remember, Ridge busted Zoe coming onto Zende, then he overheard Zoe shortly thereafter tell Carter she wanted to set an immediate wedding date.
Well, the B&B preview promo makes it clear that Ridge isn’t going to let Carter just walk into this marriage blind. Carter has been there for Ridge on multiple occasions, and Ridge won’t stand by and watch his good friend being played like this. “I don’t think you know Zoe as well as you think you do,” Ridge begins to Carter.
Then Ridge drops the bomb. “The woman you intend to marry was coming onto another guy,” Ridge says somberly to Carter. Poor Carter – he was so into Zoe and really thought that she was “the one.”
Carter looks pretty peeved in the preview as he confronts Zoe. “I want to know what’s been going on behind my back!” Carter angrily demands of Zoe.
“Am I really the man you want to marry, Zoe?!” Carter continues. Of course, now that Zoe has been caught, she’ll probably say anything to worm her way out of the situation.
Chances are, Zoe will pass off her flirtation with Zende as a moment of weakness in which she got scared about getting married and just lost it. The only problem is that Ridge overheard Zoe tell Zende something very different.
We can only imagine that Ridge will tell Carter all about how Zoe tried to wrangle a night with Zende, and how she told Zende that she needed to see where things stood with him before she married Carter.
Hopefully, Carter will be armed with all this information before he confronts Zoe, and he’ll hold her feet to the fire.
It looks like we’ll see Zoe beg big time. “I want a life with you,” Zoe is shown sobbing in the preview. “Please Carter, tell me that you still want that, too.” We should note that Carter doesn’t look at all understanding or sympathetic in the preview , so Zoe’s sorry act will probably be a really hard sell for Carter.
We’ll see what happens as the week of February 1 unfolds, but Zoe could very well lose everything by week’s end. Her chances with both Carter and Zende will probably be kaput, and if Ridge is mad enough, he could even terminate Zoe or at least put her on probation, so Zoe could have a very bad week.
