The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for the week of February 8-12 tease that some big moments are coming up. Of course, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) is waiting on paternity results that’ll change her life as well as several others.
While Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) waits to learn if Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) fathered Steffy’s child, she’ll reflect on the problems in her marriage.
It was going to be hard enough for Hope to get past Liam cheating on her with Steffy, but having another kid with Steffy is really asking a lot – too much perhaps!
Hope will force Liam to answer a difficult question regarding Steffy’s baby, so she may not be so sure he really wants John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to be the father.
Of course, Liam will maintain that he wants Steffy to have her family with Finn, which would make it easier to keep his own family with Hope intact.
Unfortunately, it looks like Hope’s pre-results reflection will lead her to the conclusion that her marriage can’t survive another “Steam” pregnancy. The stakes will be higher than ever when it comes to the long-awaited paternity outcome.
However, Finn will assure Steffy that his love for her is the real deal. He’ll go on and on about how Steffy has changed his life in so many wonderful ways. Steffy will be a weepy mess over Finn’s adoration, but he’ll just want Steffy to understand that he’ll be by her side no matter who this baby belongs to.
Once Steffy finally opens the paternity results, she’ll learn if Finn’s the father or not. The news will quickly spread to Finn, Liam and Hope.
There’s a good chance the results will show Finn isn’t a match, but there’s also a good chance Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) will be the reason why.
Vinny may decide to help Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) finally seal his future with Hope by making this seem like Liam’s kid. The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Thomas will have another talk with Vinny in the week ahead, February 8-12.
After Thomas insists that Hope’s happiness is his priority, Vinny might pat himself on the back for a secret paternity manipulation plot.
Maybe Vinny will feel like he’s made it so Thomas can win Hope’s heart. Speaking of winning hearts, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) will hope to win Katie Logan’s (Heather Tom) back for good this time.
Bill will want Katie to understand that she’s the love of his life and the only woman he’s meant to be with.
Bill and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will eventually connect over this topic, so that’ll bring a chance to look forward instead of back. Brooke and Bill will always be special to each other, but they’re on different romantic tracks now.
Bill will get some help from Brooke as he works to lock in his future with Katie for February sweeps.
Other Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) will have a showdown with Zende Forrester-Dominguez (Delon de Metz).
Due to the text Zende sent Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) urging her not to move too fast with Carter, it’ll give Carter a reason to lash out at his now former friend. Carter won’t think Zende’s a very good pal for going after Zoe behind his back.
Naturally, Zoe was the one pursuing Zende in the end, but Zende’s early interest in Zoe and continued flirting around the office will be big problems for Carter. It’s clear that Carter will still be licking his wounds and trying to process how his engagement could’ve ended in such a devastating nightmare.
Once Eva the Forrester International publicist returns, she’ll have some scenes that tie in with Katie and Paris Buckingham’s (Diamond White) Forrester Foundation work.
Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) will make a B&B comeback as well, so it’ll be nice to see Bridget catching up with all her loved ones.
Back with Thomas, he’ll do everything in his power to start winning back Brooke and Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) trust. As part of that plan, Thomas will make an intriguing deal with Brooke.
That may involve setting proper boundaries with Hope, but Thomas may find it tough to keep his promise once Hope needs his more than ever!
The aftermath of Steffy’s paternity test should bring some strong emotions all around. Both Finn and Liam will have to wrestle with their futures, but you can bet Finn’s devotion to Steffy won’t waver. As other B&B updates emerge, we’ll keep you posted.
