The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers preview teases that viewers are in for a big week on the CBS soap, as Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) will reel from Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)’s pregnancy news.
The new B&B preview for the week of January 4 is out, and not surprisingly, it’s all about Liam’s quest to do the right thing by all parties involved, including Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle).
“Are you serious, you’re pregnant?” Liam hesitatingly asks Steffy in the promo. “You think I’m the father?” Liam wonders. “Obviously, there’s a chance!” Steffy fires back, as both she and Liam are clearly upset over this turn of events.
It seems that any hope Steffy had about them keeping their night together a secret is now out the window.
“You’re married, and I’m with Finn!” Steffy wails, referring to John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan). “And we both know that what we did was wrong,” Liam insists.
“This child changes everything,” Steffy says, seeming to realize that Liam’s right and that they’re going to have to tell their respective partners about what’s going on.
It looks like Steffy and Liam will reach a meeting of the minds – that they’ve got to be honest with Hope and Finn about what they did and the possibility that Steffy is carrying Liam’s baby.
The weekly preview then switches to a scene at the cabin between Hope and Liam, where Liam is trying to muster up the courage to tell Hope what’s going on.
“Something happened…I just want you to try to remember how much we love each other,” Liam begins to Hope. “You are making me nervous, so what’s happened,” Hops says with her voice shaking. “We’re going to have to focus on how to go forward,” Liam continues, obviously stalling.
“Go forward from what?” horrified Hope asks, getting more agitated. “A mistake that I made,” Liam says to a now angry-looking Hope.
It certainly looks like by week’s end, Hope will know the truth, and that meshes with other The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers that say that Hope and Liam will face a seemingly insurmountable challenge on Friday, January 8.
Now, whether Steffy follows through and tells Finn about the cheating next week remains to be seen. B&B spoilers indicate that Steffy will feel torn about telling Finn the truth as Finn starts gushing about his excitement over the future.
It’s possible that Finn could even start talking moving in together or marriage, which is only going to make Steffy’s task that much more difficult.
But Steffy’s going to have to bite the bullet soon, or else she could risk Finn finding out about the affair from Hope, who’s bound to march over to Steffy’s for a confrontation when she finds out!
