The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Vinny Walker’s (Joe LoCicero) death will turn into a murder mystery, so fans are eager to see where this hot plot is headed.
As the story stands now, it looks like Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) simply killed Vinny by mistake – and now Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) is making the terrible decision to cover it up.
However, we already know this isn’t going to be a simple story! The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers confirm that it’ll eventually become a much more complicated storyline with big twists and turns.
There aren’t any twists and turns if this is solely about Liam, so we have to think about other characters who might fit in all this.
B&B may ultimately reveal that Vinny crossed paths with other people who threatened him shortly before his death.
There might be some wrongfully accused enemies who fall under suspicion for drama’s sake. That’s how things usually go when you’re dealing with a whodunit.
Nevertheless, we want to look a little deeper and think about who would actually want to kill Vinny on purpose. It makes no sense for any current character to be mad enough at Vinny to murder him – and The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers indeed call this a murder mystery.
We know Liam didn’t mean to hit Vinny – and Liam was already on the verge of working things out with Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) anyway.
Likewise, we got an “all’s well that ends well” blissful outcome for John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).
Why should Finn, Steffy or anyone connected to them kill Vinny over rigged paternity test results – especially when everything got sorted out?
It would be ridiculous and extreme for anyone to murder Vinny over something like that, particularly when everyone’s happy or at least moving in the direction of happiness again.
In other words, characters like Steffy, Finn, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) wouldn’t make sense. There’s no one on canvas who would plot to kill Vinny over such a flimsy motive, so we’re inclined to think something else is going on here.
It’d be logical for Vinny to become the victim of much more ruthless people – people who are used to handling things in a deadly way when problems arise. Was the former lab tech murdered by drug dealers?
Perhaps Vinny’s drug connections got him in some trouble that proved fatal in the end. Vinny might’ve been run over intentionally and left for dead before Liam ever got there.
This would shift blame away from all the main characters and would provide a reasonable resolution to the mystery down the road.
Of course, Liam and Bill are still going to be in hot water over this cover-up, but someone else clearly targeted Vinny and needs to pay for it! We’ll pass along updates as other B&B news emerges.
