The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that the birth of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) son brings an important question: Should Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo) return to meet her new grandbaby and perhaps defend Steffy against John “Finn” Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) disapproving mom?
B&B has two perfect reasons for Taylor to return in some form. Many fans would love to see Hunter Tylo in the role again, but a recast would work if necessary.
Steffy needs her mother on canvas for some grandson bonding as well as to prepare for any battles that might be brewing.
Finn’s parents are named Jack (Ted King) and Li (Naomi Matsuda) – and we know they’re coming to Los Angeles starting August 2. Li is all set to be Steffy’s mother-in-law if all goes well at this wedding, but something tells us she’ll object to Finn’s soon-to-be wife.
Finn can certainly defend Steffy if his mom tries any trash-talking, but it’d be nice for Steffy to have her own mom around, too.
Taylor spent years going up against Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), so she knows how to handle a rivalry! Maybe the show could start a new one between Taylor and Li.
Regardless, it’s not fair for Taylor to keep missing important milestones and family memories. Taylor needs to be back in the picture whether Hunter Tylo reclaims the role or not.
Even a Taylor recast would be better than having her MIA when it doesn’t make sense.
With Jack, Li and Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) present for the next chapter that’s looming, Taylor could complete the group and set the stage for some great drama.
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say some surprises will hit once Finn’s backstory is revealed. Steffy’s going to face some major bombshells, so stay tuned!
