Tonight on NBC their new medical drama “The Good Doctor” airs with an all-new Monday, March 8, 2021, episode and we have you The Good Doctor recap below. On tonight’s The Good Doctor season 4 episode, 11 called, “We’re All Crazy Sometimes,” as per the ABC synopsis, “After bringing in an incredibly unique and complicated spinal surgery, Dr. Aaron Glassman challenges the residents for an opportunity to join him in the operating room.

Meanwhile, Shaun and Morgan disagree on how to treat a comatose patient with a cancerous tumor.

Lea is getting her car towed, she tells the tow truck driver that it is her spot and he is trespassing. She turns to Shaun for help but all it causes is to get her fine increased and her car towed away.

Aaron is walking with a staff and is talking about Jeffrey Williams, 21 years old, when he was five he dreamt about playing baseball, at nice he led his team to the divisional. Then we see Jeffrey, he is in a hospital bed and his spine looks all twisted, he has spondylitis. Aaron says it is a nasty disease. He has seen nine neurosurgeons and they say they can’t operate on him. He wants to go to a ballpark and see a game, maybe with a girl. He just wants to hug someone again.

Shaun and Morgan are in a room with a patient and her husband, she is being taken off life support. Shaun notices that her thumb moved. Morgan says it is a normal response in dying nerves. Shaun says, or brain movement. The husband orders the respirator to be put back in. Away from the patient, Morgan tells Shaun that the wife has been that way for ten years. They need to let the husband move on. Shaun wants to do a scan of her brain. Morgan says no more tests. Shaun says he will go to Dr. Lim then.

Aaron chooses Morgan and Asher to be on his team for Jeffrey’s surgery. Marcus confronts Aaron, he tells him that he is still empty and he wants to touch a case that nobody else will touch.

Shaun goes in to see Lea, she is late for lunch with him, so he goes to search her out. She tells him that she turned to her boyfriend for support, and she didn’t get it. She is disappointed. He tells her that she needs to pay the fine, she says she is paying nothing, the man is a pirate and she is going to out him to the world.

Aaron is with Marcus who tells Jeffrey that if all goes well he will be restricted to a walker. If all doesn’t go well, there is a risk of paralysis and there is a small chance he may not survive the surgery. Jeffrey backs out, he tells Aaron that he can’t do it. Aaron gives Marcus a look. Jeffrey says sorry to Aaron for wasting his time. Aaron starts to talk about baseball with him, and how a certain player tried and tried until he succeeded.

He tells Jeffrey that he thinks he is afraid of the surgery because it might be successful. Jeffrey tells him that he spent his tenth birthday in the Children’s hospital, getting needles in his spine. He never danced with a girl, he never even had a best friend, he has no idea how to live like a normal person. Aaron tells him so what, he will suck at it, join the club. Aaron tells him not to say no because he is afraid to live his life, say no because he doesn’t want the surgery.

After the scan on the patient’s brain, Shaun tells her husband, Elias, that she has a tumor in her brain and that is the twitch, the tumor touching a nerve. Morgan tells Elias that her body is dying, he says he is not giving up.

Shaun goes to see Lea and tells her that he is going to support her. She asks Shaun for his phone, she wants to trash the guy on social media.

In surgery, Shaun says that he may be participating in fraud to support his partner. Audrey tells him that if he thinks his partner is doing something wrong, try to make them see that. Elias’ wife is in surgery and she opens her eyes. Afterward, she is talking and Morgan tells him that his wife is cancer-free and brain function is fine. She asks Morgan why she woke up. Elias says it is a miracle. Layer, Shaun tells Morgan that the wife’s waking up was temporary, when the dopamine wears off, she will go back into a coma.

Jeffery is in surgery, Marcus tells Aaron that if he could talk this kid into risking his life, then he can talk anyone into anything. Asher says he is afraid of eating a cheeseburger, it is like cutting his lifeline to his mother who was kosher.

Jeffery is going into distress, they try to find out why and can’t seem to figure it. The spine is actually not the problem, it is his heart. His body is not letting them straighten him out, they need to reverse the surgery. Aaron is frustrated, he takes some time to the side to think for a moment. Then he comes up with an idea.

Morgan and Shuan go to speak to Elias and his wife, tell her that it is only temporary. She asks how long does she have, Shaun, says less than twenty-four hours. Morgan tells Elias that she gave his wife a DNR and she signed it. He talks to his wife she tells him that this is what she wants. She goes back into the coma and he can’t breathe on her own. Elias kisses her and says goodbye, Shaun turns off the machines.

Jeffrey is out of surgery, he has a brace on him and Aaron gives him a walker. Jeffrey stands up and everyone claps, he gives Aaron a hug.

Lea is going to pick up her car, the tow truck driver tells her that he is going to charge her more for showing up late. She looks towards Shaun for support, but he goes in to pay cash, he gives her the keys for the car and they both take off.

Asher is sitting in front of a cheeseburger with Claire and she tells him to kicks its butt. Asher bites into it and tells her it is really good. Claire goes up on stage, she pulls out her guitar and says it is a song that her mother loved, and if they don’t like it, shame on them.

Lea and Shaun are home, she can’t believe what he did. He tells her he paid him $250.00 that he was entitled to so he doesn’t have a reason to retaliate. He says she has been a bit crazy and he had to help her. She tells him that she was crazy because she is pregnant. Shaun holds her two hands.
