In tonight’s The Masked Singer, it was the Semi-Finals for Group B! It was also a double elimination for two of the contestants. Cheryl Hines joined the judges as a celebrity guest judge. She was a welcomed addition and the new season’s rules were explained to her and so she found out about the Take It Off button. The Take it Off button instantly eliminates someone.

It also grants the judge who correctly guessed whoever was under the mask an additional point and there was an incident last week when Ken pushed the button. He turned out to be a wrong. He cost them the button and so no one wants a repeat of that lesson. But tonight wasn’t about the judges. It was about the contestants. The first ones up was Banana Split otherwise known as the duo of the group and they were great.

They performed “Poker Face” together. They were amazing and they were also funny. Their clues was a miniature mirror that said “hottest bod” and it was a reward that one of them actually won though one of them didn’t remember who gave it to her. The two had great chemistry. They were wonderful performers and so everyone had something to say. Some thought it could be Ed Sheeran and Jesse J under the masks. Robin thought it could be Leona Lewis and Ryan Tedder. But this one was hard. Banana Split seemed like they would be around until the very end and their chemistry hinted they were either best friends or were once an item. The next performance however came from the Caterpillar.

The Caterpillar admitted he was from a famous family. He also said he wanted to show range tonight and that’s why he chose to perform a country song called “Friends in Low Place”. His final clue also showed that he won a bible quiz. It verified that he was from the south and there was some that thought it was Tyler from Florida Georgia Line and Jenny felt for sure she knew who was behind the mask. She was so sure that she pushed the Take It Off button because she said he was Jake Gyllenhaal, but she turned out to be wrong and so Jenny received punishment. She has to clean Ken’s dressing room. Jenny cost the judges their one chance at double points tonight and so in the future she’ll be more hesitant to use the button.

Next up was the Mallard. The Mallard admitting to being married to a woman and he also said he has several children. He performed “the Fly” by Sugar Rush. His trophy tonight was a Barbara Walters poster he got after he was named one of her ten most fascinating people and so that threw the judges. They made guesses from literally everyone. Like Garth Brooks to literal George Foreman. They had no clue who was under the mask. Nick said that it was the weirdest set of guesses he had ever had and it was all thanks to the Mallard. No one knew who was under there. They were all stumped as they went into the final performance of the night and the final performance went to the Queen of Hearts.

The Queen of Hearts winged it last time. She wasn’t winging anything tonight. She performed “She’s Got You” and this one blew everyone away. This performance was touching. It was heart felt. The judges couldn’t wait to see who behind it and they all different guesses on who was behind the mask. Ken suggested Kelly Clarkson and no one believed that one.

Then Nicole suggested Sia and so Ken changed his mind to Sia. Cheryl Hines thought it could be Kristin Chenoworth. But eventually someone was eliminated and the first singer eliminated tonight was the Mallard. The judges had their final guesses and they said Alan Jackson, Jason Aldean, Dog the Bounty Hunter, and Billy Ray Cyrus. And Cheryl was still going on about George Foreman.

The Mallard took off his mask and underneath was Willie Robertson from “Duck Dynasty”. It turns out the costume was the biggest clue and everyone missed it. But Willie was also a friend of most of the guys the judges thought he was and so he knew they were going to get a kick out of it.

The next singer that was eliminated tonight was the Caterpillar. Nicole was sticking by Tyler from Florida Georgia Line, Ken thought it was Dan Levy, Jenny thought it was Owen Wilson, Robin thought it was AJ McClaine, and Cheryl thought it was Jim Parsons. They were all wrong. It was Bobbie Berk from the “Queer Eye” and he actually laughed at all the suggestions. He was never a boy bander. And he was just a laugh.

THE END!
