The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) may surrender to temptation once again. If Y&R writers really meant for that kiss to be a mistake and nothing more, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) would be focused solely on Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) right now.
Instead, Adam recently snuck off to Sharon’s place to make sure she was OK and ended up admitting he couldn’t stop thinking about that kiss. Those aren’t the words of a man who’s completely devoted to Chelsea and her recovery.
It’s starting to seem like Adam’s only with Chelsea out of obligation and because Sharon isn’t a single option.
Of course, Adam didn’t let Sharon’s marriage to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) stop him from planting a kiss on her at Society. If Sharon’s willing to give Adam another kiss or even more, you can bet he’ll gladly accept it. Adam is impulsive and very much an instant gratification kind of guy.
The Young and the Restless often plays up the intensity of Adam and Sharon’s connection. There’s always talk about the pull between them – something magnetic that Sharon and Adam just can’t resist.
Rey wants to get to the bottom of why Sharon can’t break this hold Adam has on her. Rey feels like Sharon has Adam stuck in her head and that he represents a dark part of herself that she doesn’t let out in her daily life.
Since Sharon keeps denying her Adam problem, it seems like a sign that it’s going to become an even bigger issue. Sharon’s Adam addiction won’t just go away on its own. The harder Sharon tries to pretend she’s not hung up on Adam, the more likely it becomes that she’ll prove she is.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will try his best to get past this “Shadam” kiss – but only if Sharon can meet him halfway and truly move on from Adam. It’s doubtful Sharon will be able to do any of that and may make matters worse instead.
Is this all building to the worst betrayal of all? Could Sharon sleep with Adam and eliminate any shot of patching things up with Rey? Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) warned Adam not to let anything like this happen again.
victor also told his son that cameras were everywhere – and that people were always eager to spread salacious things about the Newmans.
It’s easy to imagine Sharon sneaking off to meet Adam at that seedy motel he checked into back when he was dealing with the truth about AJ Montalvo. Sharon might feel like it’s the only safe place they can talk, but they could obviously do a lot more than that!
Will Sharon and Adam take the next step by surrendering in the bedroom?
Based on Victor’s “cameras everywhere” comment and the fact that tech-savvy Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will get in on helping Chelsea, there’s the potential for another shocking betrayal discovery and hard evidence.
If that happens, it may crush any hope of repairing the damage to Sharon’s marriage to Rey and Adam’s relationship with Chelsea. We’ll offer updates as other Y&R news becomes available.
