The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) will make a dangerous pact. These exes will set their own temptation trap, so Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) marriage will still be at risk.
We already know from other summer spoilers that Sharon and Adam will struggle to move on. They’ll both realize it won’t be as easy as they thought to put their romance in the past.
We should keep that in mind as we consider the agreement Sharon’s about to make with Adam. There are a few ways this could play out, but the result will likely be the same no matter what.
It’s possible this agreement will involve truly steering clear of each other. That plan hasn’t worked out for Adam and Sharon in the past, so there’s no reason why this attempt would be any different.
Even if Sharon and Adam can avoid each other for a while, that might just make their burning desires worse.
Of course, it’s also possible Adam will turn to Sharon for help with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) once his son’s back in town.
Sharon might agree to some therapy sessions to make sure Connor can wrap his head around Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) situation and readjust to life in Genoa City.
However, Y&R fans know that’d be a bad idea under the circumstances. Chelsea hates Sharon and is extra protective of Connor right now, so Adam would be creating a recipe for disaster.
That doesn’t mean Adam won’t turn to Sharon for help anyway, but we can all agree it’d end in trouble!
Another pact option is for Adam and Sharon to try friendship. Adam might like the idea of being a pal and having a relationship with Sharon like she one she has with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Sharon might go for that plan, but it’d no doubt make waves with Rey. It would also bring the potential for Adam and Sharon to get too close for comfort all over again.
No matter what this pact entails, it’s going to be a dangerous decision for Adam and Sharon. There’s going to be drama any way you slice it – and some temptation is bound to happen in the midst of it all.
