The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) may get something he’s wanted for a long time – and that’s another chance with Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Ever since Adam returned to Genoa City from Las Vegas, his connection with Sharon has been evident and a persistent problem in their lives.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) made Sharon his wife on New Year’s Eve, but that marriage is already in jeopardy thanks to her bond with Adam. It’s clear that Sharon can’t shake her former flame despite the fact that she’s in denial about it.
Adam’s always going to be someone that Sharon is drawn to – and that could make Sharon and Rey’s attempt to salvage their relationship will go up in flames.
It’s just tough to imagine Sharon truly getting a grip on her Adam problem and moving on. After all, Sharon hasn’t been able to do it so far! The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon may move on from Rey quickly if she has a real shot with Adam.
Y&R fans also know Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has washed her hands of Adam romantically and is focused on revenge. Chelsea just wants to get Adam out of her life once and for all, so the stars may finally align so that single Sharon can reunite with single Adam.
However, we have to wonder if that’ll truly satisfy Adam considering his feelings for Chelsea and the son they share. Does Adam want Sharon because he loves her more than Chelsea – or does Adam just want Sharon because she’s the one he can’t have right now?
There’s a certain forbidden, dangerous element that seems to appeal to both Adam and Sharon. Once that element’s no longer a factor and they’re actually free to be with each other, it could totally change the game.
Regardless, Adam adores Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and a little piece of him will always want his family to be together. That’s something else to consider as we think about what’ll happen after Adam loses Chelsea and potentially gets this opportunity with Sharon he so desperately craves.
It may not be all Adam hoped it would be!
The truth is Adam may be one of those guys who’s doomed to flip-flop back and forth at this point. Once being with Sharon becomes possible and perhaps even a reality, Adam may decide it’s Chelsea he truly wants.
Sharon could find herself heartbroken while Adam chases after Chelsea and fights to repair “Chadam” once again.
