The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will face a mysterious attorney named Jesse Gaines, so a past threat will haunt as Jamison Jones debuts in a new role.
Y&R fans know some intriguing pieces of information are starting to come out about Ashland’s past. Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) found it odd that Ashland basically never existed until his older mentor, Camilla Rhodes, entered his life.
There’s also the matter of Ashland’s missing birth certificate – and the fact that there’s no record of his mother and father’s deaths. Of course, Ashland seems concerned about the mysterious person texting him as well.
This person has insisted that Ashland is a hard man to track down, but even Ashland’s new identity couldn’t stop the mystery texter from doing so.
Although Ashland will try to ignore the ominous messages he’s receiving, the person sending the texts will make it clear that’s a mistake.
Ashland’s history is definitely on the verge of coming back to bite him – and we know Jamison Jones will first appear as Jesse Gaines, a lawyer who shows up in Genoa City with info regarding Ashland’s history.
SOD confirms that Jones’ first appearance as Jesse will be on September 21, so fans will look forward to hearing that Jesse might spill.
Could Jesse be the person behind the threatening texts?
Ashland will make some form of a confession during the week of September 13-17, but there’s more to the story if Jesse’s going to come to town the following week with info on Ashland’s past.
Ashland may fear Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will find out the rest of whatever he’s hiding unless he surrenders to Jesse’s demands.
Jesse might even reach out to Billy or at least jump at an offer Billy makes.
It might be interesting if Jesse serves as a secret source for a scathing takedown story at ChancComm. That could happen if Ashland doesn’t cooperate in the way Jesse sees fit.
Whatever the case, Ashland doesn’t want to look back. The problem is Ashland will have no choice once Jamison Jones makes his debut as Jesse Gaines and shakes things up.
The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that based on the timing of Jesse’s arrival, he could pose a serious threat ahead of Ashland and Victoria’s October wedding!
