The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may save Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) future. Will Billy be the surprising hero who exposes Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope)? Will Billy restore Summer and Kyle’s engagement by uncovering the truth behind this twisted Italy scheme?
Back when Billy first met Sally, he was certainly a bit wary of her. Although Billy was intrigued, he could tell Sally was self-serving and the kind of gal who could cause trouble.
Likewise, Billy will soon find himself thinking Tara isn’t quite as innocent as she wants people to believe. Of course, we also know Summer made a rather bizarre request of Billy before she caught her flight to Milan.
Summer argued that Kyle was going to need a friend, so she urged Billy to be there for him. Even Billy thought that was odd and didn’t view himself as someone Kyle would turn to.
Billy and Kyle are far from pals, so why did Summer ask Billy to step up for him? It seemed like a writing choice meant to make Billy feel sorry for the former couple.
Now Billy’s worried about what used to be “Skyle” and heavily involved in Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) storyline, which obviously relates to Tara.
Billy also has a nose for news and could easily do some investigating. It just feels like Y&R is positioning Billy to be the one who comes through for Kyle and finally makes him realize the truth about why Summer left town.
Billy may find out exactly what Tara and Sally did in their scheme together, so that could be the info Kyle needs to chase after Summer and win her back.
