The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) may come up with some surprise ammo against Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi). Will new evidence prove the scandal was true all along?
Y&R fans know every word of that ChancComm story was legit, but Billy and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) were forced to retract it since Jesse Gaines (Jamison Jones) later claimed he was lying.
It was a smart move on the part of Ashland as well as the Newmans since it eliminated the leverage related to Ashland’s shady past.
Now Gaines is no longer a credible witness, so Ashland feels like he’s in the clear. However, the cover-up could become an even bigger scandal.
Billy has a plan to take down Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), but that could mean taking Ashland down along with them.
During the week of December 13-17, Ashland will get a chance to see Billy’s sinister side. Although Ashland may think he’s won this battle, Billy may come roaring back as a threat.
Gaines surely can’t be the one and only way to corroborate Ashland’s story. There has to be other proof of Ashland building his empire on money he stole from his mentor, Camilla Rhodes.
If not, perhaps Billy could create some by secretly recording a conversation with Ashland and scoring a confession. Billy could even plant a bug and get the admission of guilt he needs to win some leverage again.
That doesn’t necessarily mean Billy will blow the scandal up, but the threat might make Ashland a reluctant ally in Billy’s vengeful plans for Adam and Victor.
Billy may not want to rock the boat with Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle), but he may feel he has to take drastic action – even if Victoria isn’t happy about it.
Once Billy finds out Victoria is making a unilateral decision to send the kids to boarding school, he may not even feel too bad about going behind her back on this.
Billy’s main goal will remain to get revenge on the Newmans, so he won’t care much about the collateral damage.
No matter how this plays out, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will do something devious that catches Ashland off guard.
There’s a sneak attack of some sort looming that could make some major waves for Ashland and force him into a tight spot.
Y&R spoilers say Billy will stoop as low as it takes to get the vengeance he’s seeking.
