The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Camryn Grimes (Mariah Copeland) is asking fans for help following a sibling’s new diagnosis. Camryn revealed that on March 19, her little sister, Payton, was rushed to the children’s hospital in Los Angeles.
At the time, Payton had a then-unknown medical condition that left her doctors in search of answers.
Camryn’s family was eventually given some crushing news. “Lots of tests, scans, and ultrasounds later, we got the devastating diagnosis of Lymphoma,” Camryn said in a recent post on Twitter. “We have a long, hard road ahead, and no one more so than Payton.”
This is certainly a difficult time for Payton and those closest to her, but there’s a way for The Young and the Restless fans to get involved.
Camryn announced that she had worked with her brother to create a GoFundMe page for Payton. She encouraged everyone who could to donate, but even spreading the word helps.
Camryn hoped fans would repost on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to make sure Payton gets the help she needs for what will no doubt be expensive medical care. She wanted to get this message “as far and wide as humanly possible,” so plenty of Y&R viewers have been doing their part to pitch in.
Camryn closed her post by offering gratitude ahead of any donations and kept an optimistic tone. “My sister and family will be forever in your debt. I will forever be in your debt. I love you guys and thank you so much in advance,” Camryn said.
Payton’s family doesn’t have a lot of details about the cancer battle she’s facing at this point, but we’re all rooting for her and committed to getting Camryn’s message out there. As Payton and the rest of her loved ones kick off this fight, they’ve got a supportive Y&R army backing them up!
