The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may accuse Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) of leaking those Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) pics herself and making it seem like she was a couple with him. Will Chelsea fight back with a chilling warning?
Y&R fans know some tabloid photos were published following the wedding festivities in Tuscany.
Sally filled Adam in on the news since the National Inquisitor was acting like they were “a thing” now. Adam shrugged it off, but it wasn’t long before Chelsea was ringing Adam’s phone.
Adam ignored the call, but he can’t put off talking to Chelsea indefinitely. Chelsea will expect some answers and may voice her objections to the idea of Adam dating Sally.
Chelsea could easily argue that’s inappropriate and unacceptable if Adam wants her to come on board at Newman Media.
Chelsea might also bring up Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) and act like Adam’s probably confusing the kid with his dating escapades.
Of course, Adam isn’t really dating Sally – at least not yet. He may not think he should be blamed for the leaked pics that suggest otherwise, but Chelsea will surely think there’s plenty of game to go around.
Adam was indeed parading Sally around and introducing her as his date to the event, so Chelsea may push him to admit how things looked. However, most of the blame should be reserved for Sally.
Chelsea may point to Sally’s history of scheming and argue that she must’ve arranged for someone to send those photos to the National Inquisitor.
To be fair, that seems like a manipulative move that’d be in Sally’s wheelhouse. Even if Sally isn’t guilty in this case, there’s no denying that she’s capable of the photo leak.
Chelsea’s accusations probably won’t prove accurate, but she could still dish out some threats ahead of her upcoming return.
We may see Chelsea warn Adam to keep things professional or else. She might even toss some hints around about custody drama if need be.
Sally may get a disturbing warning as well since Chelsea will be ready for war.
None of this will stop Sally and Adam from continuing to blur lines between work and play, but Chelsea will have more chances to tear them apart as this story moves along. We’ll provide updates as other Y&R details come in.
That photo leak surely happened for a reason, so maybe it’ll bring a turning point where Chelsea knows she has to eliminate Sally – one way or another!
