The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) may team up to erase Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) from Genoa City for good. Will Phyllis and Chelsea become allies against Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) new woman?
Phyllis worked with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) back when they were trying to expose Sally and Tara Locke’s (Elizabeth Leiner) scheme.
Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) also ended up supporting Phyllis’ efforts in the end, but she’s going to need a new alliance against Sally soon.
Billy is busy trying to take down Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi), and Nick is pretty caught up in all that drama, too.
What Phyllis could use now is someone who hates Sally almost as much as she does – someone equally motivated to drive Sally out of GC permanently.
Y&R spoilers say Chelsea will return to the show with a big fall storyline, so viewers will have to wonder if she’s truly turned over a new leaf or not.
Chelsea will claim she’s really changed and wants to be a better person, but there’ll be some warning signs that suggest perhaps that’s not true.
After all, Chelsea didn’t commit to getting the real help she needed while she was stuck at that psychiatric facility.
Just because Chelsea’s been doing better away from Adam doesn’t mean she’ll be able to sustain that once she’s back in GC – and back in Adam’s orbit!
Based on Chelsea’s video call hints, it’s clear that she’s rethinking her old relationship with Adam and would like to be a united family with Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) again.
Once Chelsea returns to Genoa City, she’ll see that Sally is standing in her way.
Chelsea might approach Phyllis as someone who also hates Sally and would love to see her leave town.
This is something Phyllis and Chelsea have in common, so they might as well form an alliance and try to make Sally regret ever coming to GC in the first place.
Of course, Sally is resilient and not the type of person to be scared off by Phyllis, Chelsea or anyone else.
Sally will no doubt dig her heels in and take a bold stand against any new alliance that develops. Adam may eventually have to take a stand against Chelsea and Phyllis right along with Sally, so stay tuned!
