The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may come up with a trap to get rid of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), so that could mean a scandalous setup to shock Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) into turning against their new fashion star.
Chelsea seems annoyed by Chloe’s defense of Sally, who’s become a friend to Chloe in addition to being her employee. Chloe relates to Sally as someone who’s made her fair share of mistakes and tried to learn from them.
Sally’s experience as the town pariah is something that Chloe can understand, so she went against Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) advice and hired Sally for Newman Media’s fashion platform.
Now Chloe wants Chelsea to give Sally a chance as well, but Chelsea is no fool! She can see that Sally is too close to Adam and doesn’t like that one bit.
Chelsea has a real problem with anyone serving as competition for Adam’s heart, so her only real solution here is to push Sally out of the picture.
Since Sally is considered a major asset to the team at Newman Media, Chelsea has to take steps to change that.
It’d be easy for Chelsea to pull some sneaky tricks and make Sally seem incompetent. Chelsea could even set Sally up for another scandal and try to get her fired because of it.
Perhaps Chelsea will make it seem like Lauren and all the other naysayers were right about Sally the backstabber.
Chelsea will want to shut down Chloe’s friendship with Sally and will certainly want to nip any hint of an Adam romance in the bud.
During the week of December 27-31, Y&R spoilers say Chloe and Chelsea will have a strategy session.
The two of them will nail down plans for the future, but notice that Sally isn’t mentioned here. Chelsea will no doubt intentionally exclude her, so that may be the beginning of her push to get rid of Sally entirely.
Chelsea will go out of her way to leave Sally out of any big fashion platform ideas, so Sally’s bound to notice.
Although Chelsea will want to eliminate the threat, Sally’s the kind of gal who doesn’t back down from a fight.
Chelsea will need to be careful once she starts making bold moves against her rival since Sally could have a few tricks of her own. As other Y&R news rolls in, we’ll bring you updates.
