The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) could be on the verge of making a troubling discovery. Y&R fans know Chloe has agreed to help Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) start a new chapter with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
No one wants that for Chelsea more than Chloe, so it’s easy to see why she’s on board with offering assistance.
However, there’s clearly more going on here than Chloe realizes. Chelsea offered up a mysterious bag recently – and the contents were baffling to Chloe.
There’s a good chance Chloe was looking at the missing trinkets from Sharon Rosales’ (Sharon Case) place and struggling to make sense of what Chelsea was up to.
Before they got any deeper on this plot, Chloe sought reassurance from her bestie. Although Chloe’s done her fair share of scheming and made some pretty devious and deadly moves in the past, she’s got a family now and doesn’t want to jeopardize it.
Now that Chloe is in her right mind and doing well, she doesn’t want to get caught up in anything that might go too far.
As a result, Chloe pushed for confirmation that no one else would be affected by what Chelsea was plotting. Chelsea maintained that this was solely about Adam, but that was obviously a lie.
Sharon is being manipulated through the missing knick-knacks – and Chelsea will send a text pretending it’s from Adam on Monday.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea is already messing with Sharon’s head, which will become quite important once the rest of Chelsea’s plan plays out.
Based on the timing of Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) strange illness, it seems he was drugged or poisoned by someone else who’s helping Chelsea out – that someone we suspect is Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind)!
Chloe isn’t pitching in on this part, but she’s bound to freak when she realizes Chelsea lied about her scheme not affecting anybody else. There’s no way Chloe will be cool with Chelsea making Rey seriously ill, but Chelsea may argue that Rey’s going to be fine.
This isn’t about trying to kill Rey. It’s just about crafting a believable enough story to make it seem like Adam was targeting Sharon’s husband. Chelsea will want Sharon to lash out at Adam – and she’ll most likely hope Adam lands in prison, too.
Even so, Chloe may insist that she’s out when it comes to this vengeful strategy of Chelsea’s. Chloe may even threaten to tell Sharon and Rey since it’ll become clear that Chelsea’s out of control.
Will Chelsea be about to keep Chloe’s mouth shut? Regardless, Chloe seems poised to bust Chelsea for ordering Rey’s poisoning and framing Adam to take the fall for it. We’ll deliver updates as other Y&R news pops up.
