The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will have several important goals during May sweeps. Victor will have to deal with a major family crisis due to Faith Newman’s (Reylynn Caster) health setback, so that’ll certainly need his attention.
However, Victor will also remain focused on clearing Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) name.
Of course, taking Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) down will be a huge part of getting Adam off the hook. Adam had a bit of an epiphany thanks to a vision of Chelsea and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).
Adam came to realize just how much he’d hurt both women by jerking them around, so Adam pushed Victor not to go after Chelsea and add to her suffering.
Nevertheless, there’s no way Victor will just let Chelsea get away with this. Victor promised Chelsea would pay – and Y&R fans know he’s a man who keeps his promises! Adam’s wishes aren’t going to matter here, especially since proving Chelsea’s guilt could be a crucial part of exonerating Adam.
During the week of May 3-7, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor will score some new leverage. He’ll gain the upper hand on Chelsea somehow and intend to put it to good use.
We’ve also got some May sweeps info about Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) being backed into a corner.
Chloe recently took herself out of the game and left Chelsea to clean up this mess on her own. It’s only fair considering Chelsea dragged Chloe into this without letting her know what she was really up to.
There’s no way Chloe would’ve agreed to go as far as poisoning innocent Detective Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) if she’d known in advance. Chloe didn’t do the actual poisoning, but she was heavily involved in this setup and unknowingly picked up the thallium for Chelsea.
Chloe could be in huge trouble with the cops if they figure out her role in all this.
Victor manipulated Chloe as part of a plan to set up Adam in the past, but now he may use her as part of his plan to clear him! That could be an intriguing May sweeps twist in the months ahead. Will Chloe herself be Victor’s new leverage?
Victor may score proof against Chloe and insist he’s willing to let her get away with her role in the frame job – IF she helps him take down Chelsea! Perhaps Chloe could secretly record Chelsea admitting to her crimes or something along those lines.
In return, Victor may insist he can use his power and keep Chloe out of prison.
Whatever the case, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe will feel the walls closing in soon enough. That’ll most likely be due to Victor and the pressure he’ll deliver, so Chloe may be forced to strike a deal and stab Chelsea in the back.
