The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Elena Dawson (Bryton James) could find herself facing quite a predicament – an even bigger one than she imagines! Elena will already be battling regrets after a night of forbidden passion with her ex, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James).
Since Elena will feel so horrible about the betrayal, she’ll resolve to hide it from Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Elena cracked under the pressure when she cheated with Nate with Devon, but things may be different this time. It’s not Elena’s first rodeo, so she may think she can keep this secret for her own sake as well as her former flame’s.
Since Devon is kicking off a romance with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), Elena won’t want to ruin his fresh start either.
However, most juicy Young and the Restless secrets have to come out sooner or later! What happens if Elena’s pregnant after her romp with Devon? That’s always a possibility in a situation like this. Elena might face a paternity mystery, but there’d be more drama in making this an “Elevon” baby.
That’d be a way to strengthen Elena and Devon’s connection – and more importantly, it’d force the cheating secret to come out.
If Elena realizes she’s pregnant, she’ll be forced to tell Nate about her bun in the oven. That might leave Nate excited until he realizes there’s more to the story.
Nate’s future with Elena could be smashed to smithereens if Elena reveals she’s carrying Devon’s child, not Nate’s. Of course, there’s no confirmation on a pregnancy storyline for Elena, but many Y&R fans would like to see one.
This would raise the stakes and give “Elevon” a reason to stop fighting what they’re feeling. Elena and Devon could get a true new beginning through an impending bundle of joy.
As for Nate and Amanda, it’s safe to say they’d be flabbergasted over this startling turn of events. Can you imagine Amanda and Nate’s reactions to Elena’s baby bomb?
Amanda would certainly be disappointed to see her budding romance with Devon cut short. Nate’s dreams for the future would be dashed as well, so that might give Nate and Amanda a reason to bond.
Things didn’t work out between Amanda and Nate the first time they tried it, but maybe they gave up too soon. An “Elevon” baby might bring some couple shakeups within this love quad.
