The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, February 5, tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will keep a secret under wraps. After a phone call comes in from Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), Sally will initially be irritated.
Sally won’t want Theo harassing her, but Theo will insist that he’s got some ammunition that she can use against Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor).
Sally will decide to meet with Theo on the downlow since he’ll be in Chicago on a buying trip for his Paris boutique business. Ideally, Summer would prefer to have ammo that could be used against Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Summer is Sally’s main rival now – and Summer has plenty of scandalous secrets thanks to her trip to LA.
However, Sally also knows that Kyle is Summer’s biggest weakness. If Sally can do damage to Kyle and Summer’s relationship, that’ll still work to her advantage.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sally won’t tell Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) what she’s up to on Friday. Jack may be a bit suspicious, but Sally will do her best to cover before she finally sits down for updates from Theo.
Theo will have quite a story to tell, so Sally will settle in and gape over the shockers. Y&R spoilers say Theo will admit Kyle slept with a married woman back when they were in New York. Kyle had an affair with the wife of a powerful mogul named Ashland Locke, which resulted in the birth of a child.
Theo will be adamant that Kyle is the father of the couple’s kid, not Ashland.
Of course, we have to wonder why Theo never used this info against Kyle during their previous cousin battles. Why was Theo wasting his time on things like the underage drunk Zoe Hardisty (Anna Grace Barlow) saga or trying to get Kendra to dig up dirt at Jabot?
It sounds like maybe Theo recently acquired this info somehow and can’t resist using it through Sally.
On the other hand, it’s also possible Y&R writers will just be sloppy and act like Theo would sit on a whopper that huge. There’s no way Theo would keep quiet about something that damaging, but we’ll see how the show actually explains it.
Once this conversation wraps up, Sally will suddenly become quite a threat to Kyle. Look for Kyle’s history to haunt him once Sally, Theo and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) confront him next week. Until then, Kyle may get some calm before the storm moments with Summer on Friday.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will voice his complaints. He won’t be seeing the speedy results he wants in Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan), so Adam will push Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) to kick things up a notch.
Adam will basically feel like Sharon needs to be doing more to get Chelsea riled.
However, Chelsea will already be inwardly raging at the penthouse. After Chelsea imagines Adam and Sharon kissing again, she’ll gain more mobility and work on her recovery.
Chelsea won’t let her nurse know about the progress she’s making and should end up hiding it from Dr. Lena Cavett (Dana Sparks) as well.
As for Adam and Sharon, they’ll get busted holding hands soon enough. Within the next episode or two, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will catch the exes in this tender moment and feel his jealousy bubble up.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Adam and Sharon’s connection will cause even more problems in the coming weeks, so stay tuned.
