The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Friday, July 2 Recap – Stalker Stitch’s Creepy Move – Tara Kisses Kyle in Hot Fantasy

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Friday, July 2, reveals that stalker Ben “Stitch” Rayburn (Sean Carrigan) will make a creepy move while Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) kisses Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) in a hot fantasy.

At the Chancellor mansion on Friday’s Y&R episode, Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will come downstairs after realizing Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) was out of bed.

Mariah will admit she couldn’t sleep due to her baby bump and will reveal she’s reading a pregnancy book.

Mariah will also have something on her mind and will surprise Tessa by confessing that she feels guilty, but Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will interrupt with the dessert Mariah requested for Tessa.

That’ll send Mariah hurrying off to the kitchen for plates, but Tessa will seem confused and concerned.

Later, Abby and Tessa will push Mariah to come clean about what’s bothering her.

Mariah will talk about realizing how incredible the pregnancy process is, so Abby will realize Mariah feels guilty that Abby can’t experience it instead.

However, Abby will assure Mariah that she’s happy this pregnancy has been such a wonderful thing for her. She’ll think that’s exactly how it should be.

Abby will ask Mariah if she could describe what it’s like since her own pregnancy was never this far along.

After Mariah mentions a few things, Abby will tear up and suggest she can almost feel it. She’ll call it magical as she shares a sweet moment with Mariah.

At Crimson Lights, Stitch will catch up with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Stitch will out that he knows Abby awfully well – or at least he used to.

Stitch will act like Abby isn’t as happy as she’s letting on and will know it must be tough with Chance Chancellor (last played by Donny Boaz) away on assignment.

Victor will talk about Chance being a good guy and will bring up how he was offered a job at the GCPD.

After Stitch mentions that he’s headed back to Iowa tomorrow, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will appear and gush over how good it is to see him after all these years.

After Stitch heads out, Nikki will notice Victor’s got a strange look on his face. Victor will seem concerned about Stitch’s interest in Abby, but Nikki will think Stitch was probably looking for some sliver of happiness.

Nikki and Victor will acknowledge that it must be horrible for Stitch to watch his child fade away.

Outside the Chancellor mansion, Stitch will lurk and look through the window as Mariah rubs her baby bump. He’ll seem pensive as he finally looks away.

At home, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will flirt before discussing Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) relationship with Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi).

Billy just won’t think Victoria is emotionally involved with the guy since he’s not her type. He’ll then realize he’s going on and on about Victoria again, so he’ll call himself an idiot before a grinning Lily agrees.

Billy won’t want to tone down Victoria’s role in the story and will suggest that all’s fair in love and journalism. Lily will just be concerned about things getting emotionally dicey.

Billy will argue that Victoria might enjoy the limelight since she’ll become a powercouple with Ashland if they indeed become a thing.

Lily will note that Victoria could have genuine feelings for Ashland and will argue that maybe they bring out the best in each other.

Billy will think that’s how it is with Lily and will invite her upstairs to show her the effect she has on him.

In Ashland’s suite, Victoria will stop by to reveal that Victor overheard him in her office and is now convinced the gossip is true.

Ashland won’t be concerned about Victor making a move since they can thwart whatever he throws at them. He’ll also refuse to preemptively confirm anything about his health since he won’t want to look weak ahead of the merger.

Victoria will think it’s time to speed things up and flip the script. She’ll think it’d be good to move full-speed ahead with the merger and keep the sharks at bay.

Ashland will agree changing the narrative is the right idea, but he’ll note that emails and documents could leak. He won’t want the details getting out yet since the merger deal isn’t final yet.

Victoria will realize she’s pushing hard, but she’ll point out that time is a factor. Victoria will want Ashland side by side with her to enjoy the spoils, so Ashland will admit he likes the passion and fire he sees in Victoria.

Ashland will think it’s contagious and will assure Victoria he intends to go out with a bang.

After Victoria says she wants to help Ashland leave his mark, he’ll ask if she’d like to spend the night with him. Victoria will assure Ashland that she’d love to, but she’ll have to get back to the kids.

Ashland will understand, but he’ll admit Victoria’s giving him another reason to live. The idea of treatment will be back on Ashland’s radar.

At Society, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will praise Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) persistence and tenacity. Sally will admit that she never got a “yes” right away in her life, so she learned to just get over the fear of rejection.

Sally will acknowledge that she didn’t think Jack was going to show up, so he’ll admit he’s got people questioning his judgement right now.

When Sally asks what made Jack decide to come, he’ll suggest that anyone who’d work that hard to win back his favor deserves a chance to explain why. What Jack didn’t anticipate was talking for hours and talking about every topic under the sun.

Jack will push Sally to reveal the real reason she asked him out for a drink, so she’ll confess that part of her feels like she needs Jack’s forgiveness to move on and live the life she wants in Genoa City. Jack will be curious what that life looks like for Sally.

After Sally talks about returning to her design roots, she’ll admit she’d like to find a partner to share her life with as well as a dog. Sally will want to travel in her golden years and give her earnings to charity.

Sally will never want to stop designing, so Jack will think Sally can have all that and more if she stays on this new-and-improved path.

Sally will insist that’s the plan no matter what, but she’ll think it’d be even sweeter if she earned Jack’s forgiveness along the way. “Why is my forgiveness important to you?” Jack will ask.

Sally will acknowledge that it takes a lot for her to feel ashamed of herself, but she did after things blew up with Jack. She’ll talk about seeing him as a mentor before she saw him as a friend – and then something more.

Sally will make a speech about head-to-toe reinvention and how Jack is definitely worth it.

Jack will suggest he wasn’t expecting Sally to contemplate changing every aspect of her life to win him over. Sally will promise this isn’t some big pitch. She’ll just feel the need to be honest about her feelings since Jack asked.

Since Sally put all her cards on the table, she’ll hope Jack will do the same. Sally will seek confirmation that it wasn’t a one-way connection. “No, it’s not one way. There’s definitely something here,” Jack will confess.

Sally and Jack will acknowledge that an evening of casual chatting seems harmless enough.

At the Abbott mansion, Kyle will find Tara downstairs and will remember her insomnia from years ago. Tara will recall one time when Kyle came over during their affair and they sat by the pool under the stars.

Kyle will note that it wasn’t all bad, but she was stressed over Ashland finding out and that made it difficult to sleep.

Tara will be sorry about ending things abruptly with Kyle and keeping Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez) a secret. She’ll talk about second-guessing herself on that decision, so Kyle will seem to understand.

Tara will point out that there are no more secrets, so she’ll wonder why she still can’t sleep.

Kyle will argue that Tara isn’t the only one since he hasn’t been able to relax since Summer Newman (Hunter King) told him she was leaving.

They’ll try some breathing exercises that are supposed to help with sleeping before Tara hears a noise and goes to check on Harrison.

After Tara steps away, Kyle will gaze at a picture of Summer on his phone. When Tara returns, Kyle will delete Summer’s pic and pull Tara into a passionate kiss.

However, Tara will suddenly snap back to reality as Y&R reveals that kiss was just in her head.

Kyle will ask about Harrison, so Tara will admit their son had a bad dream. She’ll note that Harrison went back to sleep once she reassured him that his dad was there.

Tara will be sorry if she upset Kyle talking about the Hamptons earlier, but she’ll want him to know she doesn’t regret what happened.

Tara will add that it gave her Harrison and changed her life, so Kyle will acknowledge that it changed his life, too.

Kyle will talk about those days in New York trying to get over the women he thought was the love of his life.

Kyle will suggest that the time he spent with Tara gave him something he needs to remember right now – that he can have a life without Summer. He’ll talk about Harrison being his top priority followed by working with his dad at the family company.

As for what comes next, Kyle will have to take it day by day. Tara will seem deep in thought as she listens to Kyle’s take on his situation. We’ll offer updates as other news rolls in.

The Young and the Restless spoilers say Tara will get even more manipulative in the coming episodes, so stay tuned. CDL will have other scorching Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so stop by again soon.
