The Friday, July 2, tease that Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner) will carry out a manipulative memory mission as she pushes Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) to recall his love for her. Meanwhile, Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) will get a big surprise thanks to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).
First, let’s discuss Tara’s latest attempt to rekindle things with Kyle. Tara has to be careful since pushing too hard could backfire, but she doesn’t want to let this opportunity pass her by either.
Y&R fans know Kyle is battling a broken heart, so this is the time for Tara to strike.
Tara has to act now while Kyle is hurt and vulnerable following his split from Summer Newman (Hunter King), so that’s exactly what she’ll do. Kyle and Tara had some good times when they were sneaking around in the Hamptons.
It looks like Tara will try to remind Kyle of those days and draw him closer once again.
However, Kyle has admitted that he only thought he loved Tara back then. His feelings for her were nothing like the ones he had and still has for Summer.
Even so, it seems likely Tara will succeed on some level – even if she just manages to get a smile and some laughs out of Kyle.
In the meantime, Victoria will head off on her Los Angeles adventure with Ashland. After Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) stirs up doubts, Victoria will want to keep Ashland nearby and remind him that they’re a team.
Vickie’s eager to close the merger deal and might surprise Ashland by wanting to lock it in quickly.
Ashland may sense that Victoria doesn’t trust him if she doesn’t play this carefully. Regardless, Victoria will have some important updates for Ashland, so we’ll see how he reacts to her upcoming news.
Over with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), they’ll find themselves in familiar territory.
Lily and Billy have no problem mixing business with pleasure, so they’ll take advantage of having a partnership in every way, shape and form.
There’ll be some sizzling moments as Billy and Lily feel like they’re conquering the world in more ways than one.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily and Billy will have to face a bump in the road sooner or later, so stay tuned to see when their romance will hit a snag.
